LB YouTube Cypher: Sign Ups *CLOSED*
 

Hey folks. We're back with another official contest. This one is a little different. Pretty much, we're going to create a youtube video cypher compilation, then the best submission will be voted on and a winner picked. Everyone who signs up will be given the same instrumental to rap on (the one posted above). Simply visit the track's page and download it as an mp3 from there. You must rap for 30-35 seconds (about 10-12 lines) letting the instrumental play a few seconds before and after your rap verse. I'm going to mix it all together so it sounds like one continuous track and letting the beat play a little before and after your verse will help me do that more easily. All of the submissions will then be taken and mixed into video cipher compilations which will be uploaded onto our YouTube channel.
Everyone who signs up and posts will receive a free 1 Month Exclusive Membership just for posting! We already have about 5 submissions. The submissions will be grouped into different compilations that have about 6-8 submissions each. People will then vote on each group compilation and select the very best verse out of the 6-8 verses. All of the winners will then advance to a new round and will be given a new beat.

No. The beat is only 49 seconds long. It's been added to the OP. We want you guys to spit only 10 or 12 lines for the first round. This will last about 30 to 35 seconds on the beat. We suggest you start spitting at the 12 second mark. We want the beat to play a little before and after your verse so that it will be easy for us to add it to the compilation.

@Noble question, is this for a live spit recording or you want people to record their vocals on the track first?...sounds confusing...can i just play the beat in the back round and spit over it?..if so sign SIXXSHOTT up

This is for live spit recording, meaning you play the beat in the background and spit live while recording yourself in the process. It's only 30 seconds spitting cause the beat is only 49 seconds total. I don't know why anyone one would record themselves lip-syncing to something that's only 30 seconds.

It has to be a video footage of yourself rapping over the beat. It can be from a webcam or whatever, but no slideshows. Btw, you can download the beat from this page:
