Should members of the site having previously received infractions which are voting related be allowed in the FVC?

We need more people like you, I'ma keep it real. It's a certain mod on here who puts there crew members in the fvc. I got a infraction when I 1st joined this site that lowered my vp to 0.. to this day, I still have the same vp even though I'm 1 of the fairest voters.

Yeah they should because Anarchist is a changed man despite being banned multiple times for hate voting, kicked out of the FVC for hate voting and then banned and then let back in the FVC after straight after his ban.

@EtH this has nothing to do with modship. The FVC' MAIN purpose is to vote on battles. Why should there be any members with prior voting offenses? It makes no sense.

I basically came up with the idea of the FVC despite those offences. I've also at multiple times been classed as the best voter on LB (not these days), was in the original FVC, was the only non mod in the secret FVC, was in the current incarnation of the FVC.

But yeah, hate voting UA in 2007 should have cost all of that.

So, anyone, despite a history of poor voting should be allowed within a group whose primary focus on the site is exceptional, and fair voting? Yeah, makes sense. Side note, I was also in the original FVC.

There are factors taken into account when someone is being made an FVC member.

To start, you need to have a voting power above a certain amount. This means that if you got done for bad voting in the past, you'll have to work it back up. Since cakedout and Ohs are still shit voters, their pasts aren't going to be erased and they aren't allowed to be FVC. Once someone has proven their ability as a voter, in being fair and knowing what they're talking about, then they make FVC. FVC only carries 1vp higher than a normal voter, so it's not a big deal.

It is a big deal if you have previously poor voters being trusted not to repeat that.

Let's say this is true. What stops from any one individual from "playing nice" for a few weeks? IE: I vote with suitable expos on 5 battles in the attempt to assure my place in the FVC. This works, and I am voted in. What stops me, then, from returning to my previous behavior?

The prerequisite for applyin to fvc is u cant have been infracted or banned for voting type stuff within the last 3-6 months from when u applied..

@ILLoKWENT only has a little discretion to whos let in the fvc. ACs just has good voters. He cant help if they make the cut more than others

Why should they be allowed to have been infracted for their voting AT ALL is the question.

I can't speak for anyone else but I find it easy to see through the kind of front you're talking about.

And for arguments sake. Even if 1 does slip through the net by faking it's easy to keep an eye on their votes once they're in in order to spot a relapse.

Another hypothetical, then, @Just C say that the party KNOWS they're under scrutiny, but, harbors resentment against another member. What stops them, then, from voting against them on their battles while giving them a reasonable rating?

Why is it that FVC members can't be blocked? Wouldn't that solve this problem?
