more credits for longer battles
 

No one wants to vote on 16's, 32's etc. especially if they're by noobs. Why not add an extra incentive and make it so you get more credits for voting on the longer battles? The same could be done with tournament battles.

16 lines = 2 credits
32 = 3 credits
64 = 4 credits

Tournament battles = 2 credits

yeah makes perfect sense.. why vote on a 16 and get 1 credit when you can vote on 2 8s and get 2 credits..

I think its a great idea, but what would really make it successful is if we create something else to do with credits first...like maybe an emcee item store or something with special items that you can use your credits to buy. For example, right now, I have 973 credits. It wouldn't matter whether the next battle I vote on gives me either 1 credit, 4 credits or none. It'll take damn near half a lifetime of battling before I ever run out of credits and have to vote in order to earn some more...and from my experience, people needing credits is becoming more and more rare.
Thanks for bringing it to my attention though. I'm having a meeting soon with some of the other admins about site changes and I'll definitely bring this up.

Yeah I understand that, on my Nixwon account I had near 1.5k credits at one point. To those of us that have spent awhile on the site the credits build up and they become irrelevant, however to the newer guys they need the credits to battle.

I do think we need some way of spending credits though. If you make them mean something then you could also have battles in which people can put up credits and the winner takes the pot. If you do make it so people buy items for their emcee make the items expensive so people actually have to work for them instead of being able to buy everything in a week and forget about it.

a large lump some to buy "Custom titles" :)... Signatures.. avatars.....,maybe make a thread?(but doubt it'll go smoothly but could work nicely)
