Wall of Shame yay or nay?
 

I would like to bring this back from the old days. I had mentioned it a few weeks ago and @AfterThought seemed interested as well. I would reserve it mostly for biters and extreme cases of site abuse.

I wanted your inputs before proceeding with this act of public humiliation though as it would be a new policy.

I would also like to start using the negative awards more, so people have their own scarlet letter of shame.

Thoughts?

It would probably help deter some account abuse. I say Yay.

There's still one store here that makes people stand outside with a sign around their neck saying "I'm a thief...I stole from here" as they wait for the cops. Not many people steal from there.

I think publically calling out biters n such will serve 2 purposes. A deterant for the guy thinkingof doing it and as amusement/incentive for people to get involved so they can see it.

As long as its for only clear cut cheaters i'd say yay.

I say yay....i would also like to take this time to say...If you ban/Infract someone for biting/cheating....Be sure to grant them the "Strike Award"....i can't keep track of every staff members dealings with members....

Yeah, I wanted to work on using them more myself. Not only for a visual deterrant, but also to let other mods know the dude has a history of being shady.

^That is the whole point of the strike awards....three strikes = a ban.

@AfterThought You can probably find it by IP scanning any of these and looking at other IP's then other usernames. Too much work, but it'll probably bring it up.

Yeah, and pre-infraction system it would have been a great idea, but now points keep track of the shit when utilized properly and ban people. Since Biter's points never expire, it will always show in the infraction menu they've been caught. I just was using it as more of a biters mark to keep track of guys to watch them closer if I come across them in battles Either way, I'll use them more.

Yeah imma use them more myself...i kinda stopped using them cos i couldn't keep track of every little cheating fuck lool

but once we all using them it'll clear things up for all of us.
