The Mind's I, it was written by Daniel Dennet, I believe. It's about how one perceive him or herself as an outside observer. The Road To Reality, by Roger Penrose. The Emperor's New Mind, by, again, Roger Penrose. The Dancing Wu Li Masters, by Gary Zukav. Slaughterhouse 5. I forget who wrote that, though.

Any James Patterson book is great.

I'm a book geek.

I usually read classics, epic novels or adenture/fantasy, but dabble in other things as well.

On my livingroom shelves, I probably have 50 or so books ranging from the Wheel of Time series to Roots with Les Mis, Kahlil Gibram, Helter Skelter, The God Father series, and even "A Tree grows in Brooklyn" sprinkled in.

I've also got an assload of poetry shit from my dad.

My favorite is STILL and always will be "The Bachman Books" by Steven King. "The Long Walk" and "Rage" are two stories that just caught me the right way.

Read Forest Gump. It's a lot different than the movie but still very good. It is a quick read too.

Phil Banks 07-11-2012 04:39 PM

@Teek it's Khalil Gibran :)

Teek 07-11-2012 04:47 PM

shows how long it's been since I've read the set, I still fuck up the name on occasion. Very decent read though if you like poetry and short stories. I like his mindset and his views of life, justice, morality, shit's very similar to mine.

"Satan" is my fav. The concept that the Priest needs Satan alive to keep being a priest, so he saves him, that was deep.
