So ive seen a few nominations this year, and i cant agree with them, when you look at the H.O.F , you see the names Jason, U.A, Daddio, Real Talk,..

these cats deserve to be HOF, they displayed dominant runs for years atop the competition, and in doing so they displayed text skills that 95 percent of texters couldnt match...

When i think of HOF, i think of Gods among men regarding the category they represent, someone everyone strives to be as good as.

If the HOF were to be the names i listed above, the 5 or however many are in right now for the rest of LB's existence, that would suffice to me.

Noone should be inducted into the Hall this year at all, unless its someone i dont know about that had a LONG RUN as the VERY BEST, winning GC titles and other titles, droppin verses that make cats go WOW.

the only person i could even think of being worthy of being nominated for the hall this year is RULE.

maybe Reefer for the simple fact this guys multis, punches, etc are at a level 99 percent of LB cant pull off.

Lets chill with the HOF nominations, if you want to be nominated, WIN back to back GC titles or something, do somethin amazing. destroy the active competition for 2 years straight of activity and remain at the top.

HOF is reserved for the BEST OF THE BEST. if this is only 5 or 6 cats for the rest of LB's time... then so be it... but until you can compare the person you are nominating to , Jason( 3 time champ), U.A (5 time champ? or is it 6? fuck if i know, Real Talk( champion, Live battler, one of the greatest texters ever), Daddio( GC, the Goat) , then save the nominations.

Erupt has every right to feel like that. TBPH, i don't disagree with him. There's Some Names I Would I Think Should Be Nominated Before Me As Well.. But If I/people Get Nominated They Aren't Going To Disagree With It.

BUT At The Same Time, It's All About Personal Preference Though. So You Can't Say That Some People Don't Think Of Me When They Think Of Those Names You Mentioned.

It should be getting harder as time goes on to get into the HOF, not easier. We already have 1 and 2 time GC title holders in there... In my opinion it's a bad look for the site if we start letting less decorated battlers who are 'clearly as or more skilled as the best' in, b/cuz it not only reduces the interest the great battlers might have in a GC or other big LB tournaments, but making something like HOF also suggests that the overall quality of the LB battlers has dropped.

I dont think anyone should be nominated until they at least match or beat Jason and UA's 2-time Txt Grand Champion record.

And as far as Milks HOF goes, i think the induction was a bit premature to be real. No doubt homie has the skill to win a GC title, but he hasnt yet. HOF's the most prestigious award on the site, how are you gonna give it up to somebody who's never even made a successful title run...? It'd be ludicrous to induct a fighter into any mma HOF without him ever becoming a champion... same with boxing and pretty much any other 1on1 sport/competition... so why do it here?

This is exactly why ALL Hall of Famers should at the very least be one-time grand champions. Without a mandatory grand champ title under their name the HOF loses its 'greatest of all time' essence.

A HOFer should undeniably demonstrate an overall skill level above 99.9% of the sites competition, a clear reign of dominance, several veteran/high level wins and if not one, several tournament victories, proving their willing to put the time and effort into beating the very top competition of the era while their at their best. Its no doubt the tournament setting makes people put that much more effort into their verses.

Its like a sports team dominating in the regular season, then deciding not to go into the playoffs(can that even happen? lmao) and still being considered one of 'the best'.

I wouldn't nominate me to go in as it stands, for the reasons stated in the first post, regardless of the tourney wins I have. HOF'ers should have beaten the best around, and as it stands I don't stand a chance of getting in because the "best around" aren't battling, and nobody is considered at that standard anymore really, meaning neither myself or Mikey or Huey or anyone else have a shot. Stop holding on to the past and take a look around we need a new breed of heavyweights instead of focussing on the blessed golden era. HOF should in fact be more about activity and how long your run atop the site has been, the site is so hungry for heavyweights and HOFers to represent the "New Era" its sickening, real talk, dont for a second think anyone thats active deserves HOF, im glad that Askari and Mikey both agree they arnt worthy, yet,
