Okay, so, I do not understand those of you voting for Skilligan in his battle vs Mind Fuck. Yes, Mind did only post one bar, which was a signigicant amount less then Skilligan's. However, Skilligan did not stick to the same scheme, he used 2 different schemes, in a scheme battle..

I've only posted this thread to find out why you voted for him? Yes, like I said, Mind had one line, but this is a Scheme tournament...which means you don't randomly cut one scheme, and use another...

Personally, I think Skill should be DQ'd for the error.

I do understand what ya'll are saying though, but in a SINGLE scheme battle, using more then one scheme should lead to a DQ, correct?

If I was in a topical battle & didn't stick on topic, I wouldn't win, even if my opponant did post 20 less lines then I did..

I guess the DQ fir Skilligan would be over-doing it...
And giving Mind Fuck the win, now that I think about it & have the information that I do, is also over-doing it..

As long as you keep your main scheme the number of syllables it's supposed to be.. I'm sure you can have as many fucking inner rhyme schemes as you want. I'm assuming your "main scheme" should be the one putting the sting/emphasis on all the punches though.

As far as DreaDz / MF shit is concerned.. MF posted one bar with a 4-syll scheme.. DreaDz posted a verse with a 3-syll scheme that kept interchanging vowel sounds... which just fucked his scheme up and made the read very, very ugly.. it wasn't easy to get through at all because he was just pronouncing words how he wanted to lmmfao. Still, he schemed "better" for the rules of the round, so he wins.
