You asked me me 2 half hours ago if I could drop by 11 as a late replacement.

It's not even a hour past deadline. And you close it? Without even giving me a chance to get back online? What happened to a thing called an extension?

I mean you asked me 2 hour ago. It's not like I had 2 day's. And I been using what lil free time in that 2 hour window to write.

I'm not being funny but don't ask me to take time out to fill in when you can't even be flexible.

If you're going to use replacements at such late notice the least you can do lf they can't drop a topical at the drop of a hat is give them a 24 hour extension. Not kick them in the face the MINUTE it passes deadline. I wouldn't do you like that. Show some common sense next time you ask somebody to fill in at such late notice. Shit woman. Lol.

@Just C haha i told talksick i was closing dead on 11 so i couldn't extend it, i've extended it before and no difference was made and you didn't say you WOULD show you said you'd see what you could do and you weren't online so i assumed you couldn't make it (my bad) I won't have much time for LB the next couple days so wanted to get the next round open before i went to bed and to do that i had to close it when i said i was going to. I wrote mine in about 3 minutes as a no-show verse because I was waiting to see if you were going to submit or not.

I was about to PM you, but it's cool... I'll delete my verse, post what you got i'll close it and you can just go forward

Nah I don't want to win that way. That's not what I'm here for, I wanted a genuine win (If I would have won) But I also don't want to say I'll come in as a VERY late replacement, only to find not even an hour after deadline you handed yourself the win. Myself and others have other shit going on away from L.B (Just like you said yourself) These are things you need to take into consideration, especially at such late notice, a little Lee way wouldn't go a miss.

Yeah i know, but you have to agree.. normally if somebody hasn't showed by the deadline the chances are they're not planning to. I was pissed at one of the other threads and didn't write, looked at the time and had a few minutes left, saw you weren't online, keyed up a few fact about titanic, wrote like 5 lines and submitted, gave it a bit so assumed you couldn't make it. Apologies, genuine mistake. I wont over afterthought but since it was a empty victory i gave him the choice whether he wanted to go through or whether i'd keep it the win,( he wanted to go through and then no-showed ) so i don't just give myself wins for the sake of it. Genuine mistake.

In my defence, each thread about round 2 has stated in the event of a double no-show a wild card will be called upon and have a few hours to drop a verse. But none-the-less. You're right. Your decision what you want to do. Round needs to be closed by tomorrow

@Just C last week i granted a 48 hour extension and nobody showed.. I first stated in the first thread, that replacements would only have a few hours to submit, as they are wild cards and both replacements would be in the same boat (pardon the titanic pun) because I also only have 2 and a half hours to vote as it was initially madverbs vs talksick but neither could meet the deadline. If you read my verse, you'd have seen it wouldn't have taken ANY time what-so-ever lol.

How long will it take you to finish? I'm not going through now like this..
