Confused By 1 bar
For "Son to be in front of me" he had to really "plan it, or bit" (planet orbit)
Is it just me Or is there a past and present tense issue here? Surely it had to be Planned it or bit Or Plan it or Bite I´m not trying to be akward. I just checked the battle after seeing Wish won. I didn´t even read Askari´s bar. I just wanted to see the winning bar. But am I missing something here? Or with what I said in mind. Does that Word Play not work 100%, making it a stretch? |

just because he put the word "HAD" before plan it or bit
it probably makes sense. Now if it was HAS instead of HAD we'd have serious tense issues |
Think of the "or bit" as an afterthought that's why I put a comma in there if I had space I'd have wrote

Aight yeah. I got ya´s. It just read mad wierd the first few times and I couldn´t get my head around it. Like Pulse said it´s the Had before that probably threw me. But yeah it works with Bit as an Afterthought. Like I said wasn´t tryna down play the bar it just threw me n I needed to ask.

The "Or Bit" part prolly would of worked better in brackets.

The concept makes sense, but as it reads it isn't grammatically correct:
(he had to) have planned it, or bit it (he had to) have planned it, or he bit (he had to really plan it) or bite it (he had to really plan it) or he bit Moral of the story: "or bit" isnt working in past perfect tense. If you said he either planned it or bit the tense is fixed, but it's still stretching pronunciation of "planet or bit"... either way, enough people thought it was enough to win. |
"idc whether you plan it or bit" comes out the best with the WP ... but fuck it he got the win .

Look ... It's the best way to word it keeping it making the most sense in both ways ... It's the first few words of the set up ... Not the main punch .... Getting a little fed up with people putting my lines under the microspcope when they should spend more time focusing on their own.

Askaris bar was executed in an akward way but UAs bar was kinda played. I feel as if people straight up overlooked that a bit. No doubt UA won and I'm not tryna be an asshole but let's not act like that was UAs best.

This is the Text vs Audio thing right here.
In Text if the tense or sentence structure is incorrect it throws it off at least initially for the reader, as where in Audio your flow is your flow...no one could misinterpret it. |
