Tournament and letsbeef ideas
 

Since everybodys throwing round ideas tonight, me and @Ty McGuire (punk, iOnu) have a couple to put forward.

Ty thinks each year we should elect a letsbeef president. I mean don't know what privileges they'd get but it could be a good idea.

Ty also thinks instead of 'credits' there should be 'battle bucks'. Could be a good idea with more thought to it.

And idea we put together could be a DOPEEEE idea... each year the top 'hoods'/countries or whatever vote who they think their best reps are from a poll determined by their progress through the year, epic moments, forum personality, big wins or other achievements, overall contribution, and they all go into an official tournament and the winning hood gets a 'world cup' which they could battle for each year, and the winning rep gets a user title or some sort or other prizes. Somebody bought it up not long ago, maybe Frankie Clipz or somebody? But... in this format i think it could be sick.

Another voting idea.. punk thinks a sick idea could be surveys to ensure battles are getting read through and voters have to vote by answering set questions.. we haven't completely agree on this idea, but as a basic idea it could be good, maybe once a week automatic personal messages could be sent to members with a survey/questionaire which they have to reply to with good answers before they can proceed on vote on more battles.




Staff are doing some cool stuff this year to make it more interesting for members and i think the site is on it's way back up, i think a lot of over average but not quite heavyweight/vets mainly run the forums and are doing all the voting, but when it comes to tournaments and the wild cards get entered or vets come back we always lose out, obviously that's our faults not the vets/heavyweights, but just throwing some ideas out there :)

i like that regional area/country/hood thing.. thats official rite there.. people be more motivated to get active members from they city to be on lb.. 1 person spreads to 2..2 spreads to another 2 and so on.. its good or business too gotta admit

The questionaire shit is rediculous. Rest seems straight though.

as far as voting idk how we can ever fix that up lol bc i dont want to fill out a survey to vote on a battle i think that should be more of people who get there voting privileges taking away or something who have to earn it back or is excused of hate voting etc. plus i think it would make people not want to read it and go threw all that trouble

I like the battle bucks idea: both battlers could opt to put these bucks on a battle and the winner takes all. Battle bucks can then buy you emcee items or challenge bigger name battlers for example earn 1,000,000 battle bucks and you can challenge the current grand champ to a title match, winner takes all.

Something like that anyway.

Surveys are maaaad difficult to control imo. Imagine if the mods have to pm every single voter with a questionnaire.

People won't bother respondin tbh...i think the combination of hidden comments with a character limit will work perfectly

And battling for actual money in exclusive areana could be a SICK idea

I'm already in the process of holding a world cup championships . I was talking about it in the tournament section before this thread. groups A to H . 4 per group. top 2 qualify for the last 16 in official brackets for the knockout phase. the losing semi finalists go back to the battle arena to battle for tjhe bronze medal in a 3rd n 4th place play off. It will be happening as soon as I iron out all the creases.

i think she meant automatic surveys, so it sends an auto PM to the voter, however it's hard to difficult but with some php programming knowledge we could make it happen. i'll try it maybe just give me more details about that..
