VB Plug Ins I'd Like To See
 

I saw one where if you post @username in a post it will notify that person in the notifications that they have been mentioned a-la twitter. Not sure what it's called but that could help increase forum activity if someone was alerted every time they were mentioned.


Rep/Karma would be cool to have as well.


Twitter/FB icon links under names in forum posts.

There's a Reputation field in the mod console. Does that have the same functionalty?

Adds a tagging system like twitter's that parses hash tags and adds them to the cloud. So instead of tagging threads in the box down below that almost nobody ever uses they could just say #texttourney or #BeastMode or w/e

Basically makes it so that if you're in a thread you don't have to refresh to see new posts. Looks pretty cool to me.

Why do we not have these like NOW?

You have to dig through a board on the .org VB site and look for stuff tbh. And who knows if some of this stuff is compatible with what he have already. One of our programming guys would have to take a look at these and let us know. IDK why they wouldn't be but with all the custom hacks we have there's no telling what could go wrong lol

1. Install
2. Check if it breaks stuff
2a. if BreaksStuff = true then RemovePlugin
2b. if BreaksStuff = false then keep it
3. ?????
4. PROFIT!

Yeah. Can we get these things hooked up Pugz. If there's a problem let us know. Nothing worse than being kept in the dark. Keep us updated.

I went over to Roc battle and noticed they had the hash taggin. as well as post updates on profiles.

We need these things as well as a new layout/skin to freshin things up. we've had this skin for over 4 years. it's not like a make over isn't long overdue

It should be in the admin panel. I wouldn't know for sure though. I can't even admin tournaments.
