Letsbeef Mag August Review: Monthly Awards
Yo guys. I'm currently working on a monthly review (won't reveal details stay tuned and read it) and the last section of the review will be a Monthly awards section.
I'd like y'all to help me out and fill these categories. Text Battler of the Month: Audio Battler of the Month: Text Battle of the Month: Audio Battle of the Month: Rookie of the Month (Either text or Audio): Contributor of the Month: Staff Member of the Month For Contributor of the month you can include any criteria you feel necessary. Such criteria could be, the one with the most innovative ideas, someone who's actively seeking to improve battlers with his feedback or even best voter. |
I like this idea. Lemme know when you're ready to publish and maybe we can figure out how to format it into a template so it's super easy to do every month.

Battler of the month @Ragnarok? Seems pretty generous seeing as you've only beaten trash. >_> Real talk though Rag definitely has to be in the running for it (or at least for rookie - as this was his first month of battling).
And it's probably fair that @Mindless gets 'Contributor of the Month' for getting the Letsbeef Mag up and running! |

I don't like to toot my own horn (I fucking LOVE it) but for all the shit I've done to and for this place I oughta have a special place in the HoF. I'm kidding of course. Someone else should get the contributor of the month though. I don't want it because it would look awful for me to take that on my own project. I don't want people to think I do this stuff just to get my ass kissed or for accolades or something. |

Im not even sure how new he is, but hes only got like 13 battles completed so far so im assuming he fits. Contributor of the Month: @Godbody - He's been doing exactly what he's done this month with helpful ideas and feedback for YEARS. it's definitely time to see him get some recognition for it. Obvious runners up are myself and mindless, and whoever gets it out of us three.. its massively deserved. Eternal salutes for the work you guys are putting in, and I can only hope we see more of it in the future. Staff Member of the Month: @OSKAR - Oskar was active and helpful before this new period of good staffing was bestowed upon us recently. And while I'm eternally happy for all the work staff is putting in right now, im definitely giving this to Osk. Obvious, and well deserved runners up are @Student and @NOBLE. Im good with seeing any of these three winning, all of you deserve the props! Gonna do more research then edit in the top four, wanna give good answers. |
Given that this is qualifying month and the text arena is dominated by snipes, i'll allow people to choose battles from July as well.
Same goes for audio given that not many great audio battles have occurred (unfortunately). My audio battle of the month goes to Babylon Vs Doc T |

Text Battler of the Month: @Ragnarok (His work rate has been insane this month, and I feel he's put out some good content in there too!) Text Battle of the Month: @Homeskool vs @MaCc Tha GAWD - I feel like this battle got slept on a little. Both battlers came with very different styles and gave a great showing of their abilities. (http://www.letsbeef.com/battle_detai...n=tb&id=490044) Rookie of the Month (Either text or Audio): @Homeskool - It's his second month but meh. Think that he's had bars in every battle he's been in. Contributor of the Month: @Mindless - You might not want it, but you've bloody well earned it!. If that is over ruled, then @Babylon for getting involved with site improvement suggestions and for setting up (and putting crazy work into) a group dedicated to elevating people's writing. Staff Member of the Month: @Student - Been really active as a mod, and did great work in cracking down on some dodgy voting that was going on. I haven't been active in the audio side this month, so don't really feel I should cast a vote with regards to that. Edit: Expanded on why I gave my votes. |
