Things take time, but this wasn't even really the main "thing". This was basically just getting a couple of guys who claim they want to help the site...to battle on the battle site.
I'm not looking to drop 5 every week for 2 years before we recruit a single member. I'm not and don't want to do this shit myself. I was basically trying to revive this shit for me and the other guys that signed up. If it's just me and you who were going to reach the numbers, I no longer give a fuck about the rest of them. I already didn't give a fuck about those uninterested in helping. So that leaves me with me and you. You're sound enough mate, but I'm not putting in all that work for us alone. There has to be more who actually want the site to get there, and this challenge has exposed there aren't.
Steve Jobs was building something. We're reviving something. You need a core group to do that. There is none. Clearly the other guys don't give a fuck. So what do you do then? If TNA is to get back to it's best days, they can't do it with Shark Boy and ODB. They need a roster. Our roster just proved they don't give a fuck.
I'm not looking to sit here day and night putting in work for no money. I wanted to create a base, and let it snowball. 10 guys dropping 5 a week means new members stick around, means new members pick up the slack when the 10 aren't involved anymore and the same amount of battles are done. Then we can move onto recruiting campaigns and stuff. But if no one's even arsed helping me at step 1, I'm not sitting here for the next 10 steps like a fucking saddo doing everything myself while these guys have 2 battles a year in a tournament and brag about their no show title wins. Fuck them and fuck that.
