And we are keeping the crews at 8 members max.

The 4v4 battles will only be half of the crew. Having more will be pointless, but that could be a possibility in a later week to add 1 or 2 crew members. But not now.

That is why after the teams fill up a draft continuation should take place and let every team pick 2 more emcees.

Should work like this...
The order can be EJT, Krhyme, Jason, Soup. In that order each team gets to choose which member will fill a gap or replace someone they drafted. Each team keeps doing this till they have a full roster they're stisfied with. Once tiey're satisfied they stop and let the others finish. This would raise fairness of team skill and activity involved in this whole thing.

lol @ ppl getting hurt first off 2 dudes from ejt's crew that he drafted and were missing a dude too that we drafted so what is not fair about picking up free agents to fill out the rosters so there even? you guys don't have that much confidence in your crews right now?
