Are you a big Charles Darwin fan my nig?

Well according to the bible, Jesus can’t be God, as God is all knowing and in Matthew 24:36
Jesus says: "No one knows about that day or hour, not even the Son, but the Father only." This proves that Jesus is not God because if he was God he would be all knowing and he would know of the hour.
And again in John 5:30 Jesus says: “By myself, I can do nothing: I judge only as I hear, and my judgment is just, for I seek not to please myself but him who has sent me.”
Here you can see that Jesus and God are not one Jesus says: “by myself, I can do nothing.” This indicates that Jesus is relying on his own relationship with God. He is not trying to “please myself” but rather is seeking to “please the one who sent me.”
In Mark 10:18 Jesus says: “Why do you call me good? No one is good, except God alone.” Here again he creates a separation between himself and God as he says “why do you call me good” then he goes on to say “No one is good, except God alone” This is 100% proof that Jesus is not God from the bible.

Also Jesus never said he was God nowhere in the bible.

So Streetz what makes you say that Jesus is God? By the way I’m not trying to disrespect you in any shape or form, I just want your point of view.

I wouldn't call myself a fan but I do believe in his theory to some extent that life-forms are the way they are due to natural selection and mutations spawned by the need to adapt to their environment. I refrain from saying I believe in "Evolution" because that could imply that I subscribe to a lot of other things that I might not necessarily subscribe to.

Jesus came to earth as a man, which is why he had limitations.

John 10:30 is often used as proof that Jesus is God because like you said Jesus said, “I and the father are one.” But, then if you go on to read the next six verses, you will see Jesus explaining that his foes were wrong to think that he was saying he is God.

“Father, if you are willing, take this cup from me; yet not my will, but yours be done.” (Luke 22:42).

This shows that jesus and God had two different wills, although Jesus submitted his will to the will of the Father. Two wills mean two separate individuals.

Also according to the bible Jesus said: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” (Matthew 27:46). If one of them forsaken the other, then they must be two separate entities. Right?

@JimmyDean Are you saying God came to earth as a Human? And Talks to himself and says Why have i forsaken myself? again no disrespect fam.

It's too perfect.

I'm not sure which point you're trying to make here. If the point is that nature is perfect for us, I think it makes more sense to say that we as humans (who haven't been on earth as long as...nature) have adapted to nature, and not the other way around.

I really enjoy hearing how everyone thinks, the mind is a terrible thing to waste my friends.

Instead of watching t.v, go read a book, I feel like majority of the people in this thread read.

@Noble, no doubt my g. Seems like you have your beliefs figured out for the most part. It feels good to believe in something whole heartedly, no matter what it is.

I don't argue scriptures vs scriptures. It's all God's word. All I wanted to do was point out where Jesus himself said it. Understanding the grey areas come when your relationship with God strengthens... You want to understand? Go to church, bible study, pray and read.

Erupt da Monsta 09-22-2013 10:53 PM

On a side note I don't go to church on sundays anymore. After reasearch of the Bible, I realized that the "Mark of the beast" can only be breaking one of the ten commandments. It is not a microchip.... It is infact not keeping the sabboth day holy.

The devil has deceived us all into thinking we should go to church on sunday. Infact the last day of the week is Saturday, the day most of us go out and party, football games, etc etc. I go church on Saturday. Which infact is the sabboth day.
