The FVC forums will be replaced with a battle advertisement forum... If you choose to use that to get inspiration to vote then so be it. The problem with "Drop a link and I'll vote fair" threads is it is EXACTLY the same premise as pm'ing or Im'ing. You are person-to-person asking for a vote. No difference whatsoever. If @Just C wants to challenge me on any point I make I suggest we do it in the staff forum where decisions should be made... rather than going to the public in a bitch ass move trying to stir shit up its fucking ridiculous.

Nobody "called you out" I made this thread so the people who keep this site running (The users) can be put in the loop about something which effects them and so they can have their right to a say in what happens. No names we're mentioned. I made a concious decsion to keep names out of it so YOUR name wasn't even mentioned untill YOU came into the thread talking about "You can THANK ME for this" so who's REALLY the 1 looking to cause shit? WHO's really the 1 dropping your name. . . . YOU. The moment you did that in a public thread which I was trying to keep names out of it you lost your right to be kept out this. So now that we've got that clear we can move back to the topic at hand. Dropping battle links in a voting thread IS NOT the same as IMing and Pming for votes. Why? Because it is IN VIEW OF THE PUBLIC. Voting threads have been around since time began on this site as a way to give people an alternative to asking for votes IN PRIVATE where they could be SAYING ANYTHING and we wouldn't know dick about it. And your idea sounds exactly like what we already have. The battle advertisement threads for both audio and text. Now JUST DOING THAT wont work as has been proven already cause those forums get absolutely NO ATTENTION. But maybe you have something else in mind that will make your idea work. I hope so because what you proposed won't work if thats as far as it goes.

Eh, i think everybody has valid points. But from a business point of view, the staff who RUN the site should listen to the people who keep the site going, being the members.

Wasn't this around when mods decided that Battle threads should not be submitted on the actual text or audio lounge? Wasn't the outcome a total failure? No one actually bothered to look at the battle advertisment forums tbh and they won't do it now.

The FVC advertisment thread aint even a good idea itself tbh.

What I said (sticky FVC threads on botht the Text & Audio Forums) will be the best....WHY? Cause Text and Audio forums are constantly checked by all members.

And im kinda pissed seeing dudes who weren't around having the mentallity that people should vote just because the 'should'. Well they dont!!! We members are here battling daily and we fuckin see the outcomes of voting. If we say the FVC should not go because its good, then we fuckin have a purpose for saying it. The FVC doesn't benefit us in any way. It's just the best solution for this site.

As I said previously. FVC should not go...but get watched over by two ppl in charge DAILY....peace

And imo why do staff care about titles so much?

If titles make members to vote....then so be it...give a title to everysingle member....then see how voting will improve (im bein a bit extreme here but you get the picture)

I dont see the problem with people advertising there battles on the text forums as long as they dont sway with the title and/or post and that they delete it once it reaches 5 votes.

The other forums dont work period and the biggest frustration on LB is not having a battle reach at least that limit.

Im assuming Ticket has some kind of "comments stay hidden until you vote" type idea brewing.

No my idea is better than that. And Just C, we were discussing this as staff, you didn't get the outcome you wanted... so you went to the users... its fucking childish.

I dont think the solution that me verity and just agreed on shows any faults...

Tickets ideea had been tried in the past and the battle advertisment forums ended up closing down cause no one actually bothered looking at them.

Lets try our idea for a month or so...if it doesnt work then the FVC can be shut down. But i guarantee you it'll work...no pun intended
