Yeah dude, so would I... but not someone whose "own thing" just means tehy're absolutely horrible at what they do. And to back him up just because he's "different" is fucking moronic. Moby was different when he came out and he's fucking trash too. The macarena was out of left field.. sure they had followers.. but it's garbage. To each their own, I guess.. but with what you've provided me.. you only like him because he's "different".. which translates into him being trash. I've put a "mental block" on him because he's horrible. I don't care who he rhymes like. His music has absolutely zero influence on anything I do.

I know shit about rap because I've been listening to it my entire fucking life. And I've been writing/recording on and off since I was a teenager. I'm also insanely good with everything that has to do with English, grammar, or poetry. So when I look at someone's lyrics.. yes, I'd say I know what the fuck I'm talking about, and that kid is garbage.
Also, Lupe can like who Lupe likes.. if he likes Lil B then I'll have to disagree with him. Maybe he feels sorry for the kid or something.. or maybe he enjoys the fact that he's going outside of the box of a normal emcee and just spits wack lyrics on purpose because he knows he can get fans. Hell, I dunno. Whatever he's doing is working, so dude gets his money I'd assume. More power to him, but he'll never be a great emcee putting out the trash he has now that's for sure. |
