I think anyone asking the big questions are headed in the right direction yo. I don't know if we will ever know all the answers, I do think looking for them yourself as an individual will get you closer to God than you ever have been before. Question All. Belief what can be proven. Have faith that by simply asking big questions you already have your proof of a 'higher power'.

Exactly my point, and why I made this thread, to see where everyone stood. I completely agree with the fact that there is proof of a higher power. The question is then what/who do you believe in?.... I believe what I believe because it makes sense to me. But what makes sense to me may not make sense to others, which is the beauty of free will. Its beautiful to see where everyone stands on the subject, and how beautiful the brain/mind is, to think the creation of the brain, mind, the world were by accident, and non personal, are crazy to me. It is too beautiful.

One thing I suggest everyone to do is meditate, regardless of what you believe in

If you don't fck around and you take it seriously, you'll get results ASAP. Sometimes even the first time.

After I started meditating my dreams have been very very symbolic

I had a dream where a snake bit my left hand and it turned black. First time I ever had a dream like that. Looked it up and it was said that the dream symbolized someone that was jealous of me or it could be spiritual enlightenment

The night after I had a dream and all I remember is seeing a glowing white pair of eyes. People are mixed on this.. Some say its an angel, others say its a demon. Others, again, say it represents enlightenment and self insight

Those are just two examples. Whenever I meditate and I have a symbolic dream I try my hardest to remember it and decipher it, as I'm a believer in dreams being messages sent to us in our sleeping life from our sub conscious mind

Everyone keeps talking about "creation" and the "creator." I highly doubt many of you even have a clear sense of what "creation" means or what constitutes something having been "created."
For me, there is no such thing as "creation" because the concept implies a linear view of time. I don't believe time is linear, I believe it is cyclical (like a circle) in nature, and in a circle, there is no beginning or end whilst any and every point is potentially the beginning and the end. I think the idea of linear time where we're ever moving from some theoretical "beginning" in the distant past forward into the future is an illusion that was created by what scientists refer to as "The Big Bang" and substantiated by the universe's expansion. Time is omni-directional and not linear-forward the way our finite point of view suggests.
"Creation" as most of us understand it isn't real because the process we call "creation" is perpetual rather than static. EVERYTHING is in a perpetual state of being created and recreated in each moment, and what functions in that perpetual creation is everything else, so there is no one thing that is the creator.
The idea of things being "created" also presupposes that there are absolute existences. I believe nothing exists absolutely. Things only exist relative to other things and everything is dimensionally larger than what we see. What I mean is when you look at something, you only see a 3-dimensional object, but that object has a larger 4th-dimensional (time) existence and in the higher dimensions, it's existence might overlap and merge with the existence of something else which in our 3rd dimension you would consider a separate existence. So to talk of it being "created" becomes even more ridiculous when you contemplate its larger dimensional existences.
To cut it short, I don't believe in creation (as it is commonly understood) because time isn't linear and existence is relative. And I think for anyone to truly refine their view on "the creator" they would have to first fully answer for themselves exactly what it means to say that something was "created."

That is an interesting view on creation, which again proves the mind is beautiful, we all have our different beliefs, some of which we deem as absolute fact, and would take to the grave with us. Noone can tell us that our view is wrong. So in short, it is infact a branch of religion.

Its beautiful

Why does everything got to be so complicated? I look at a tree and think ''this thing is a big part why we can breathe, survive.'' Crops, things GROW from the earth to feed us and keep us alive. Water is natural, everywhere.. our bodies NEED water. Doesn't everything just fall to precise and perfect for you to think that this is God's 5th grade science project type of shit? It's too perfect.

This is exactly what I mean by saying nothing exists absolutely because things only exist relative to other things. It's more like we subsist rather than exist.
