This is true, the age of consent varies based on location. As denoted by Whatsapp's age restriction being shifted to 16 in Europe(still 13 in the U.S.) to avoid the aforementioned issues with the GDRP. That said, the aide to this point is to use the "blanket" international age of consent. Which is 18. This is expressed in the privacy policy, in that aspect, as previously referenced(children referred to as those under 18). But, shifting this to the point of data collection, I'll posit again, without the measures to make some determination of age, how can this data collection be refrained from in regard to children?

Sure, that's all true to some degree, even though I don't necessarily agree with the dismissal toward LB. But, this still doesn't address data collection(Which is still a separate issue to the aforementioned initial points). As previously stated by yourself, those examples of other social media all have an age VERIFICATION(even if they are lax on their RESTRICTIONS) to determine who the children are at the very least.

Well, personally, I'm an advocate of making the site an entirely 18+ userbase. Not only because of the potential issues with data collection, but, because of the international age of consent. That aside, though, AT THE VERY LEAST, if making the site 18+ isn't feasible(I believe it is feasible.), I'd posit the inclusion of an age verification system, similar to all other social media. The mandatory inclusion of your birth date(which can be privatized).

Well making it 18+ does make it more enjoyable for the older members. Not having to deal with kids .. But at the same time, why should we say kids cant come here to hone their skills? I understand 13, 14... But idk about down there... But down here.. By 16, muhfuckas are already crazy as hell. So I doubt tits and creepy members would phasethem.

Sure, a person who is sixteen will be more mature than a person who is thirteen. I agree with that. But, you're viewing it only from that perspective in regard to pornography, and from the viewpoint of the minor. To again add some exposition to the adult side of this context, in the U.S. it is a federal crime to expose a minor to pornographic material(even if this is an unintentional act, like posting it on a forum, and a young passerby happens to see it.). It falls into the realm of "criminal obscenity." So, even if a younger member isn't phased by this sort of post, there are stark potential ramifications for an adult member in this situation. A lot of the written material here may fall into this category as well(I'm not 100% on written material meeting the criteria for criminality in this case, so take this last point with a grain of salt.), and may additionally be seen as obscene in the eyes of the law.

All of the aforementioned aside, though, I still think the more pressing issue is in regard to privacy, and the data collection of minors, and how this may create backlash against the site as a whole, as opposed to on the individual basis of membership. There has to be some way to determine who is a minor, in order to prevent the collection of data from them from the site.
