yea, i did put that track out before i did the freestyle...

but NO I don't think I contradicted anything...

I made "Stand Out" for the younger listeners who were thinking about going the same route I took, and to push them in a better direction. I have already gone the "hood/gangster" route. Once you go that route, it's kind of hard to turn back...

But, I see what you mean.

Once again, it was a FREESTYLE and I don't feel bad for saying what I said...

you kno thats not the same...you dont talk about fucking moms and sisters to improve or beef up your image...you talk about your guns and killing ppl to impliment a scare factor, to show how tough you are, and how you dont care...theres a different motive behind each of those concepts

you're right^^^

I talked about guns/drugs because it appeals to more people tbh.

I truly lived and still live that life though, so I have the right.

I dare a muhfucka to try and pull my "bitch" card. They're in for a surprise.

I know the gun talk isn't appealing to alot of the people on this site, but trust me, I have much more material than that...

Motive don't really matter, both are using fake actions to win a battle.

John Dos 06-09-2011 02:00 PM

exactly^^^

It's cool tho fam, let the haters hate.

FreezyCT 06-09-2011 02:26 PM

@john and what does that prove..

i will disagree with the idea of these songs conflicting each other tho...two seperate songs, two seperate stories with different mindsets

John Dos 06-09-2011 02:30 PM

thank you freezy!

that's all i was trying to say!

FreezyCT 06-09-2011 02:35 PM

i dunno but to me - its like making a song one day about being pissed off at the world, bc at the time thats how you feel...and then making a triumph song the next day bc youre up again...sure the concepts contradict each other if youre being picky, but its two seperate songs...good artists can make these different types of songs regardless - its called diversity

I'm saying a guy like Heartless uses gun bars and he gets creative with them, doesn't mean he's trying to play the tough guy role, if gun lines are done right they can be dope.

Now if a guy is soft as fuck and trying to get in a rapper's face while getting disrespectful, that's different. A dude like Math or Hollow can do it and it'll come off natural because it's seems at least plausible that they could do some shit like that.

Gun Bars =/= Tough Guy, is what I'm saying. So in the same way someone who uses them is being fake, a dude saying how you're a faggot and how he banged your girl is equally fake. Just a different way of going about winning a battle.

FreezyCT 06-09-2011 02:44 PM

ok i agree that makes sense - its definitely how you utilize your lines....but i cant help but feel like alot of ppl use them bc they think its the norm, GT included
