I relax more than I get stressed. I find it obviously a better thing to do. Therefore when I do get stressed, I listen to relaxing music to relax me. If I am already relaxing, I'll play something that compliments the mood. I really don't see where I could fit in a time to play Eminem. Plus, in any of the situations I have better suited artists.
Wanting something to relate to:- Linkin Park, Kanye West, 2Pac Angry and hyped:- AOTP, NaS, 2Pac Party:- Biggie, 90s Techno To me there is no time to play Eminem. He is generally rapping about stuff thats sad and makes you feel sad. |

You said Eminem > 2Pac, so I wanted to tell you why he was not. :D.
I don't see the point of listening to something for the creative aspect. I would want it to be something I enjoyed listening to, even as background music, before just listening to it for the creative purposes. Beethoven > Eminem, but I bet you don't listen to him. To me, 2Pac had more of the aspects I like in the creative side too. Eminem is oviously much better lyrically, but I've said a million times, I can write as good as Eminem. It may take me maybe a year to work on getting flow together, but I feel any decent to great battler on the site can write as good as Eminem. You with your topical experience are probably far better at Em at story telling as am I, we are all better at the multies, and his metaphores would be recieved awfully here. Lyricism doesent impress me when I believe I can do better. 2Pac impressed me because he added a new and still untouched level of emotion to his work wether he did or didnt mean it. |
Yeah, and I said I phrased what I said incorrectly..and went more into detail about liking both of their music. I agree with you to an extent, especially the emotion part.. haha.

BUT, I named specifics. AOTP, ATCQ, JMT, Souls of Mischef, Hierogliphics and more are better as they have even better music, in terms of creativity and sound, better chemestry (specifically ATCQ and Souls) and more topics. |

Yeah like I always come across as someone just hated on Em for absolutley no reason.I do notice that in mainstream and perhaps underground, there has never been a better lyricist. His storytelling, flow and rhyming are definently the best every to hit rap music. I just dont like his music, what it stands for and what it is about. |

I definitely agree with a lot of what you say..but you usually have to explain what you mean, haha cause for the most part you come off as if you're trying to argue or be a prick :fyou: .. hahaha, but really you're only trying to make a point and express your opinon..yayaya. But I got you homie..just like I hate Necro..or some other bullshit artists..but I listen to a lot of genres, Eminem isn't even my favorite artist. I don't really have one..just depends on the mood. |
*Plays Song*
*Songs Done* *Posting Starts* :D. Alot of the time I am trying to be an argumentative prick, and I havent had a good "Damn that Eminem" rant in a while, so I thank you good sir. Next week, the existance of the Illumanti feat. Pulse and War Tank. Anyways, it's not just Emienm. I hate everybody making music in mainstream "hip hop" today, hence my hatred of that list. Lil Wayne, Drake, New Kanye, Anyone from England assept Dizzee and Prof Green, Will I Am, Nikki Manaj etc. etc. I'm one of the "this is better because its older" kinda guys. Worse than hip hop is anything to do with skating. I reciently found out that Green Day is skater music, and skinny jeans and died black gayboy hair is skater wear. When did this happen? What happened to Rakim, Linkin Park, Hoobastank and all of the old school skater songs? What happened to super baggy jeans and Karim Campbell being the regular skater look? Chad Muska being the coolest white guy ever? Bowling for Soup will make a 1995 for me soon :D |
What about Canibus, Rakim ? I feel like Canibus is the most Prominent rapper in Battling Field ? Will u Elaborate your Thought/Opinion On canibus ?..........
