Very true.. the syllable emphasis was so weird in the third multi it must've fucked me up.
mastered the hand motions - a, _, _, a, ō acting out hand holding - a, _, _, a, ō Backing down, then bolting - a, _, _, i, ō Cracking The Can Open - a, _, _, a, ō To not stress the second and third syllables in your second and third multies was just being generous.. They should be "ē, ow" respectively. But yeah, regardless it stifled my reading enough to bother me. |
I was never any good at school....

Schnapp Can Be Pronounced Similar To Snap :http://www.howjsay.com/index.php?wor...&submit=Submit
Just Saying...And Ending Bar Was How To Make An Alcohol Beverage "Walk On The Moon" and how can you say they didn't connect when all are alcohol based/related...? :fail: |
@~SHINIGAMI~
Can be pronounced =/= is pronounced. Schnapps is of German origin, and has a soft a sound. They don't even have the "a" sound (hat, bat, cat) in their language. I speak it. I know what I'm talking about, and you do not. Also, even beyond that, SNAP =/= SCHNAPPS for two more reasons. One: the latter ends with an "s". Two: the latter starts with a "sh" sound. It was wrong on three levels total. For your bar relevance, you got a generous 7. Like I said, your concepts (ideas for your punches) didn't "connect" because there was nothing behind them. "Bars Open" --> TAKE THE SHOTS "heat sensation" --> bitter face as if they TASTED SCOTCH PRO-SNAP/SCHNAPP --> "Punch" will give ya a "WALK ON THE MOON" None of those examples are punches, they are just references to something else. It's like saying... You're gonna "take these shots" like you ordered some alcohol or I got "bars" like places where people get drunk. Both of those are concepts that deal with alcohol, but they are not punches. Say that in front of a crowd and you will get boo'd off stage immediately. Going even further, here's that drink of yours: 2 oz blackberry schnapps 1 oz vodka 3 oz cola 3 oz milk Milk and coke? No one drinks that shit. If you're going to make a reference to an alcohol, make it relevant to your audience. |

Let's break this down... look at the bold red text above. You have three different pronouns (your, him, her) two of which don't match: (him & her). You start by talking to your opponent by saying ur or your.. then you continue to talk to your opponent by saying em or him.. then when it comes time to flip your concept, you use the pronoun her, switching your target from male to female? Your wordplay was forced as fuck. Just because "liquor spot" and "lick her spot" are homophonic phrases as is doesn't mean they will make sense if you throw them into a bar without careful planning. That's mistake number one. Number two: Even if the him & her are different entities, who is the her? She hasn't been mentioned a single time throughout the entire bar. Is this some imaginative her? It still doesn't make sense. Number three: Relevance and setup. Let's pretend you didn't switch pronouns.. and the identity of who you were dissing was understood.. even then, how is the reader supposed to tie in the phrases "Italian Liquor Spot" with a football game that ended in a drunken brawl? You've said nothing in the bar that would lead the reader to assume that's what you were referencing. Nothing. And on your Italians being great lovers thing.. if that's the subconscious reference you're trying to use to tie in licking spots with Italians, you need to use a better concepts, bro. Because when you read the bar, it just sounds very random. Very weird and random. |
I think 'em, in Path's bars referred to "them" rather than "Him."
The expos stands, regardless, but, it just seemed. It wasn't clear. |

smh.. if you don't want to learn, I can't help you. But, really.. go down faster than an Italian lick her spot. I doubt you even read what I wrote.. but really.. you and your friends think this makes sense? Faster than an Italian lick her spot? Say that out loud. Literally. Each word. You really think that makes sense as it stands? This semester is going to be rough to say the least.
