Its possible that me, and others, WERE thinking further into it than Lil B has. & When he realized people were thinking further into it, he decided to take on the task that so many people had previously attributed to him already taking on.

Think about it...twice if you have to.

& Don't hate on him for making money. That's his hustle, its what he's been doing since day 1, and its working for him. Hate on him for understanding the Universal Laws and blame yourself for not understanding the universal laws...

Lil B rambles on about bullshit in his songs and he's still got a fanbase & people that respect him for what he does. This could sub-consciously affect people that may want to make music but are afraid of what others think. Or maybe they want to start their own genre even.

So a few years down the road, they put themselves out there, and try making their own genre. Not knowing that listening to Lil B planted the seed in their sub-conscious to give them the idea to go and start their own genre.

What you're talking about is subliminal messaging as a form of motivation or persuasion vs. social change as a result of media.

So first, subliminal messages as a form of persausion is fairly inconclusive. The only strong results that were found were for a study of movie theaters who used subliminal advertising to show treats and treat sales increased as a result. However, it was inconclusive as to whether or not its because the subliminal ads actually persuaded them or merely because the concept was brought up to them through their conscious and they were thinking about purchasing treats. All other studys that I know of have found subliminal messages as a form of persuasion to be ineffective. Science > Wives Tales.

Second, of course Lil B is going to inspire people. That doesn't have to be a sub-concious experience. Successful individuals inspire people. People make new genres and look to change things. That's just social evolution. I don't see what that has to do with the sub-conscious.
