Gaming monitors are the way to go. Too much lag on TV's. Very noticeable in every FPS plus if its too big its hard to track your environment on a 60 inch TV with your 2 lil eyes having a giant field of view to focus on

If I wanted to put the extra effort I could buy some type of HDMI splitter with a switch...where I just hit a switch/button and it switches from my monitor to the TV. I prolly should. But I'm lazy and chillin wit my setup. I dont game anywhere near as much as I used to...jus a lil Rocket League and Battlefield 5 these days. my Xbox is more of a YouTube/Hulu/HBO/Netflix etc machine. I even be casting shit from these lil movie apps to my Xbox which is a big plus cuz you dont need to buy a Chromecast or some shit

Pulse is in here trying to talk about elite gaming set ups and avoiding lag from large monitors .... Yet he's a peasant console gamer?

PC gaming is mehh...To get that invested this late in the game (pun intended) for me is just foolish

Maybe if I was still 18 with no responsibilities, bills, and hella down time it'd make sense. But I got 8-10 IRL friends that all play Xbox and we squad up for Battlefield & PUBG, shit like that.

I game on what my friends have... I wouldn't do some corny nerdy elitist PC shit on niggas just to game on my lonesome like a weirdo.

and yea lag and shit matters on console too...A strong connection with a 120hz or 144hz screen refresh rate and 1ms response time makes all the difference in FPS games.

You can plug your XBOX/Playstation controller into a PC and play games, it doesn't need to be a keyboard and mouse.

PC normally has cross-platform servers with Sony PlayStation users too.

For me PC gaming isn't worth it anymore. Did it back in my hayday and spent about $1000 to custom build a PC. Not completely maxed out but I could play all the new games at the time on the highest settings pretty near flawlessly. It's a great gaming experience, and I still have that computer actually. That was 6-8 years ago. These days to build a PC that's worth using over a console, I'd have to imagine you probably have to spend $1300+. Just ain't worth it when the consoles are $300, and a lot more user friendly to Pulses point when you game with less technically adept friends. Some may say that you'd already own a PC in your house anyway, but if you're not using it for gaming the average person can get away with a $300 laptop or even a tablet which can be less (if it's not Apple).

So, PS4 for me, though I haven't played it in quite a little bit. Was in the middle of running through the first 3 Uncharted's that I got at Gamestop for $10, and re-playing some Skryim as well as hopping on the Apex Legends train.
