Well that was pretty disappointing in the end.

Here are some numbers:

- 27/64 battlers no-showed (including one who posted his verse late)
- 8/32 battles had both battlers show up (including one that had a battler DQ'd for biting)
- 25/32 battles were decided by a DQ
- There were 3 battles in which both battlers no-showed (could these slots be filled with a 'fastest loser' to 'reward' the people who actually turned up?)

Props go to everyone that did post (and to the people who have been voting). Here's to hoping that round 2 comes out better than this.

Battle of the Round: MaCc vs Homeskool (For me this was the closest battle of the round, and I thought both battlers gave a good showing of themselves)

Verse of the Round: Esso vs I~A~D~7 (I won't say which as voting is still on, check out the battle and decide for yourself!)
