I've listened to a decent chunk of Kendrick and I don't hear ANY Kurupt or Hieroglyphics in there.

Guys don't get what westcoast music is all about it'd seem. Lyricism is only one factor of rap. You guys are all mainly into Eminem, but you don't listen to his shit on a sunny day with a cold beer. That to me is what the westcoast is all about. Where you guys want the lyrical side of Kendrick, I much prefer the chilled out stuff from DOC, Warren G, Above The Law etc.

like i've said the WC goat era had the most distinct vibe and sound no 1 else has ever come close to. he simply can't compete. i'd go so far as to say it's imposible.

I truly think Pac is West Coast's GOAT.. But Kendrick is def. The Face of the West Coast right now.. Just because he's done a few R&B songs doesn't mean dude can't make "classic" music.. Just C, there are so many guys out there with the potential to recreate the sound, but in order to get their image out they go down a commercial and pop culture sounding road.

Any gangster rapper with an old school enough sound to his voice could hook up with Dae One and bring out some old school shit.
