Its just 1 of those things that happens over time. I think the sites had a good consistant run of activity (6, 7 years) and is now going through a transition. Its just a question of where is the new blood to take over carry the baton?

We need another 8mile to generate interest in the next generation

im the answer to the next generation

Btw saint...new tracks sick... we still gotta get something popping...

Saint-Cizzle 02-11-2013 08:19 PM

My central point is-we should shade the track section more... cuz a lot of these guys are battlers that made the leap, or just folks that wanna use this site as a venue for their materials... either way, tracks is the only way anything will move off this site into greater realms, and this isn't for everyone, a lot already do this, but for a lot of other people--gotta support they Hip-Hop brethren! We all value that same support, just takes some collective empathy is all. I just think that this site has died down, and with it, a lot of potential power. It still exists, the power is still here, but i think it's just more internal these days... rather than concentrated on shit that moves elsewhere, or movements themselves, that can move elsewhere... and Just, get back at it dude... I've had a few tracks that REQUIRE your vocals.

100!!!!

I remember dropping an 8 bar BH diss and it hit 120 plays in two days....

Back when tracks used to stay round the 100 - 150 play mark....

And people used to look forward to bumpin the newest shit...

Yeah it used to be alot tougher to break into the top 10 mp. again its just a lack of interest. A LOT of the known track makers who kept shit running for years have either stopped or have considerably lowered their track production. a lack of interesting beefs/disses hurts plays alot too. they generated a huge chunk of the plays.

genius !
love that idea fits my style so much
i love battle rapping but there's no love for it its something everyone could do
but making tracks is what counts in the rap game
image, gimmik, and promotion.
we needa step it up and put our track status on blast.
collab, collab, collab, collab,
biggest thing u could do more collabs more viewers, you get their friends bumping the tracks so u get new fans, sisters, brothers, mothers, and even
uncles.
