Anybody advertising letsbeef on any other sites will be laughed at ... People look down on this place because of the amount of noobs dropping battles in the main arena ... Till you get people like Phil and erupt and plenty others in the past who came from other sites and actually spent some time in the forums and got to find out you had to look a little deeper on here to see what's really up

In all honesty ... It would be a better idea to encourage the thousands of noobs we already have to start using the forums .... I've always thought it would be a better idea to force new members to use the forums more ... It would cut down on all the "monkey see monkey do" dickriders in the top 10 rankings and may even spawn a few genuine battlers once they realise what is actually dope and what's not

But how do you go about that?

I mean I guess you could hit up individual profiles. But I'm sure it would need a little bit more than that.

Maybe make the home page the forums ?

That might actually be the most direct and effective way.

I've met a lot of noobs over the years that didn't even know we had a forum at first because they never bothered to click the thing and find out what it was.

I touch this topic every so often; but it hasnt gotten through the heads of the admins

This site needs a facelift. & No corny ass/borin lookin shit like flyhiphop was. I'm talking a fresher color scheme, banner, navigation bar, and those new exclusive features...at LEAST

let's not forget revamping the crew battling system & adding more incentives for people to post/battle...like a virtual currency and a virtual store

But these niggas dont know shit about running a site...maybe they're happy making w/e little bit of money they're making off this site because they dont want to invest $3,000 on a new site

I dunno man .... But the homepage as the forums is the obvious choice .... You'd have more people making threads asking how to battle and shit .... We could bring in a welcome thread like every other board has... Let's face it... Who ever looks at the homepage we have now?... I know I don't

Hitting up individual people would be hard work .... We could make up a pm to be sent out explaining how it's been proven that you won't elevate past a certain level unless you spend more time in the forums... Something along those lines .... Something that wasn't too patronising ... Lmao

An Automated PM kind of thing with a message like you said. Something like that. I think with that and making the home page the forums. (Because I'm the same I never read or pay attention to that)

It would help a lot. I don't know if this would be a good idea but maybe placing the text and audio lounges at the top of the forums. that with everything else mentioned could get both lounges more active.

I mean maybe. And this is just an idea. Moving everything from the text an audio lounge into the general discussion. Place that at the top and delete the text and audio lounges.

Just throwing ideas out there. There are downfalls to it though. Like stickys for format specific tournaments taking up space amongst others. But I'm sure there could be a way around that.
