I don’t think it’s fair that you’re now standing up for the guy now that he’s banned but dudes been under fire legit for the last few months. You could’ve slid in at anytime and said he’s not swift but you didn’t.

Im certain the people who created Rican & Swift were two different human beings.

But we know for a fact that Rican logged onto the Swift account multiple times since october.

I'm not really sticking up for him. I don't know the evidence against him and I don't pay attention to those "exposed" threads because 99% of the time they're bullshit.

Friend here, the thing is, you're right, the exposed threads are bullshit, 99% of the time the man in question get's away with whatever bullshit he pulled, as a former mod, and veteran of the site, you are completely aware that it's virtually impossible to get stone cold evidence against someone, which is what these people prey on, in Rican's case, he fucked up and gave himself away, but I truly believe, going forward, for future cases, it should be done the way a jury decides a mans fate, with deliberation, factoring in all the information they have (in a lot of real life cases, not all details are known) factor in their intentions, their previous tendencies, and come up with a verdict.

In my honest and humble opinion, and I don't know why no ones actually giving any attention to @Aggo or my posts about this, we need to ban multis, I can literally say, 99% of all cheating cases (other than obvious bites and what not) stem from Multis. We need to remove them, there really is no need, I can't figure out one reason for a multi, thats a strong enough point, that would withhold them from being banned.

Banning multis isn't the move, chief. Think of how much fun you're preventing for people who don't use them nefariously. Consider Danny Tanner, as an example. Or any of Brayne Ded's multis. That's why no one's jumping on board the ban multis train.

I agree that decisions to ban people that aren't entirely clear cut need to be decided by a jury of moderators, that's what the mods have always done.

I think I'm being misinterpreted here as being anti-banning Rican. I'm not, I haven't seen any of the evidence. And, maybe if I had one gripe it would be that staff has always taken a policy of being far too much of an in-crowd. The facts daren't be shared with the userbase and if I had it my way it would be a lot more open but it is what it is. I'll just take your word for it.

As for multi-accounts I'm definitely not for banning multi-accounts. The reason being that I've seen it, it's been past policy. It doesn't work. Plus, some of the absolute best moments on LB have been as a result of multi-accounts.

- YOU WISH winning multiple titles, including audio and then being revealed as UA.
- Meta4 being revealed as MahVulus.
- Rican, Swiftkeys, Jimmy Backhandz and all of the multies that were around back in the SMACK days... and it was actually entertaining. Not a source of bad blood.

It didn't work before, it won't work now. If people want to cheat, they will and in reality people don't cheat that much. This site is easy as hell to moderate when X & Pugz are ghost so let's roll with the punches and have fun.

Then the issue continues, if there's a multi that wants to fuck around for fun, just message a member of staff and prove you're who you say you are by sending a PM on your main, its not difficult to get around.
