Jason is right to a degree, but at the same time I get where X-Cal is coming from as Rant has just become an FVC member and was saying he wanted to vote on as many battles as he could before September rolls around...

Obviously he could have simply posted his battle in the FVC thread, which he also did, but reached out to Rant because of the situation.

Honestly, you technically shouldn't have done it @X-Calibur and maybe there are some rules that need to be clarified as well, but this also does seem like a low move on Rant's part.... like do you really wanna be a mod that bad, dude? I see your constant #Rant4mod's you throwin' out in the forums.

It's one thing to ask questions and maybe X shouldn't be a mod if he's handling this the way he seems to be as Jason pointed out... but you seem to be going about it like a dick. You obviously could have PM'd NOBLE or another mod instead of pulling this shit....

Loads of people have been banned before for this VERY situation. That's all I'm going to say.

It's a rule that could be looked at again. Lock and Grizz fell victim to it, but the reason their ban was justified is because they knew the rules. It's always been like this and they'd both seen it happen to others, as is the situation with X-Cal. Not that I'm calling for him to be banned, that's down to the mods and admins, but even though we could perhaps change the rule slightly, especially in 2014 when the cheaters are nearly all gone, but the rules pretty clear cut.

Reading will be one of the first things you should master before becoming a mod. I'm not saying what you're doin is wrong. I'm speaking on the way you went about it.

If anyone should be reinstated as a mod right now it's Jason.
