I Discovered LB In 2006 Shortly After Re-watching 8 Mile. I Was Wondering If There Was Any Place I Could Battle Rap Online, The Rest Is History.

This Was The First Battle Rap Website I've Been To But I've Been To A Couple Since Them But Never Really Did Anything Else. I Was On Goldmic But I Dropped Like 2 Battles Then Came Back Here.

Only 1 of my boys knows. And thats because he's a mad hip hop head too. I showed him the site by playing 1 of my LB diss tracks and he thought it was cool. He'd heard me on the odd occasion clown a drunken mutual aqquantance whenever he got enough dutch courage to try and rap chilling at the house or w.e. but he never heard me really go in on someone on a beat. All my other freinds aint into rap so I never see need to bring it up

What made me look for a rap battle site?

I'd been writing bars, making beats anyway so I guess it was just a natural progression when you really start fucking with the internet. Which I never did before.

Sites I've been on. Brickcity. BBE. NC. AVE. RIA. RB (But that was only for a BBE Site battle, after that happened I never went back)

All those other sites I either never used or just went there randomly every now and again out of curiosity. Never extended periods like here.

This place can be dead sometimes but it's my home in terms of rap battle boards.

You'd be surprised how many ppl from Lb is on rap royalty... I logged in one day n saw erupt rule grizz tana and like two others I can't remember their names tho..

Had a kiddie in Bristol ask me if i was RULE from letsbeef once.

We were doing a lil freestyle battle royale type thing and when he saw my name he said "you got an account on letsbeef?" lol kinda surreal to have mentioned offline like that.

But yeah everyone (friends & people in my family) knows about LB to a certain extent.
