& yeah the first 3rd of the stand is incredible. So realistic that i was actually disappointed when the supernatural elements started creeping in.

Yeah I know what you mean man, although good it kinda detracted from the overall impact of it. That's why I prefer The Passage, although still out there it really sucks you in to the world they've created in a very realistic way.
