lol...i can see why you would say me not in there..though i could also see an argument for me as far as having my hand in all cookie jars on here, plus live battling

but Jason and Ticekt are undeniably HOF material....zero argument...

remarK is in my personal top 5 but i can see why some will question his qualification since he was never viewed as an immediate and dominating threat...and since he caught an L on his multi account by that clown, KK lol.

they all get my vote.

i beat cheerioo rule need to respond

Honestly I look @ ya'll..remarK & Jason in particular here, as people that have had GREAT runs on LB, battled some of the best..lost some, won some

And maybe if ya'll took that one tourney home, or stuck around a bit longer and consistently put out great battles over a span of time against heavyweights, then I def got ya'll in the HOF. I got ya'll in the Top 5 though

& Just C... I knew you would turn this into some "pulse has his head up his ass" type of shit, that's why I said "not on some cocky shit", cuz I wasn't tryna be all high and mighty.

I know my pen game.. I know it was enough to beat some pretty good writers.. Like ya boy Killz up here, Nix, and Danger Rich.

Danger Rich is one of the better emcees as far as being solid in lots of categories.. flows, presence, energy, punchlines, a few multis here n there

I went up against him knowing that I wasn't supposed to win but I dished a keystyle out and I beat him with it

That was a keystyle...on the spot after accepting an open battle...Not something I planned and wrote days or weeks for

I'm just sayin. Everyone has their weaknesses. Me coming into audio from text.. I def got the multis and concepts down..I get better daily though as far as presence and all that, cuz I freestyle all the time. I've made tracks now, etc, & I'm improving in that aspect which was something that took me forever to get down

Why is it so hard to admit that writtens isn't Ticket's strong point and he would definitely fall against some of LB's better texters that made the transition to audio?

Just C 04-09-2012 09:04 PM

Lol @ Nixwon the kids lines are boarder line autistic

I'll give you Killz

But stop mentioning Rich.

I said this to you before you took on a beat battler in an acapella which is your lane and won.

That's like the only time I ever heard rich do acapella. They're 2 different ball games.

Godbody 04-09-2012 09:32 PM

But accapella classifies as audio, does it not?

So pULSe vs D-Rich in accapella AUDIO should be a scenario in which you display raw talent. Written, no beat. Just your presence & your bars

I think that's a true testament to an audio battler's skill isn't it? Yeah riding beats is harder but an accapella doesn't give audio battlers some sort of crutch, does it? If anything a text-to-audio emcee should have more trouble with that

Just C 04-09-2012 09:40 PM

No, being able to ride to a beat perfectly is just as bigs test of skill. And way to miss my point entirely.

It's just like I beat Remark in on a beat

But he would probably beat me without 1

Two Different ball games and you battled someone who knows next to nothing about acapella battling.

Godbody 04-09-2012 09:44 PM

Again

the transition from text-to-audio is a much harder transition than beat to accapella. Can we agree to that?

It's two different ball games like you said. You were SUPPOSED to beat remarK on a beat. He's a textcee. & As a testimony to your abilities on the mic - you DID beat remarK.

Had he won & I was you, I woulda taken a moment to evaluate my performance...sit back and think, "how the fuck did i lose to some textcee that just picked up a mic?"

Ticket is an audio head. Point, blank, period. Beat or no beat. If there's no beat to ride, that gives you the freedom to flow however the fuck you want, which in turn should make it EASIER, not HARDER.

This isn't about accapella vs beats

Its about pen game. My pen game > Ticket's pen game. & That's not the 'delusional' or egotistical pULSe speaking.

In fact, I think a few textcees that made the transition to audio have a much better pen game than Ticket

reefer, jason, & remark being 3 off top

Just C 04-09-2012 09:51 PM

Remark isn't a textcee, the guy can rap, he has tracks and can ride a beat perfectly fine.

Phil Banks 04-09-2012 09:51 PM

yeah pulse you actually got a valid arguement with text to audio point... i can still hear it when i write but when i freestyle (not battle) i can ride it perfectly an come with 2-3 syllable multies when im on it..... i feel what ya sayin tho that point atleast i feel acapella is just better for a battle though writtens make it more entertaining an someone can focus on brutual punches an cool multies more then riding the track...coo

Just C 04-09-2012 09:53 PM

And remark hadn't just picked up the mic, He was a perfectly seasoned audio head when I battled him. He got deep into the custom beat GC and again he has quality tracks.
