There were no active members long before these corrupt ass mods took over. Why do think the admin all jumped ship long before lil yung fresh face mc showed up? The sites inactivity has nothing to do with the mods and everything to do with an antiquated UI and lack of support and updating. It took years to get them to implement mobile audio support and were lucky we got that. People have been saying this site was dead when I joined it like 8 years ago. I actually disagree with this assessment. Reddit's UI has been largely unchanged for a long, long time.... Has that failed? The culture of this site and battle rap in general, including moderator behavior, absolutely contributed to inactivity.

I have very little issues with the UI. The setup for the past nearly 10 years has allowed for a lot of different types of event that no longer take place, and even when they do nobody is interested as the general atmosphere of this place is toxic on all levels.

There is no support for creativity within this community. It has become a wasteland of angry adolescent conflicts primarily in the forums in the past 5 years, and particularly the past 3 years. When there is no honor and chivalry in battle, it just becomes senseless violence with no grace.

I think this is the real root of the problem. This social capital that you refer to here as "letsbeef clout". As in most systems there are the haves and the have nots. In this case the have nots are upset because they never achieved the same thing as the haves. So what's the difference? Interesting that Zul mentions this about me. When I first joined the site he was listed as top MC of the month. Because I didnt know how LB worked, I saw his name next to a #1 and assumed he was one of the sites top dogs.

So what's the difference between me and him. Hes been here way longer than me. Why did I gain LB clout and he didnt? I assume your answers will be dickriding mods, but I didnt know mods. In fact I've actively protested against mods, admin, and owners and even went so far as to delete my account in that protest.

The year I was mod I was also voted (by a considerably larger user base than exists today) sites best member. I was highly regarded as the most helpful and fair mod around at times. If you would stop being salty at the fact no one thinks you're dope you might be able to listen long enough to actually be dope.
