The community isn't to be trusted to use decency and common sense. The level headed reasonable people on here are a minority. You can't have the inmates running the asylum. You think it's bad now? lol

What you have to remember is they aren't here under enforced circumstances everyone who logs on and partakes in letsbeef are doing so via there free will and based on that alone we deserve to give them the choice over things at least a voice it doesn't necessarily mean you have to act upon that voice but the next genius or site owner or watever may be sat in this community with no engage not to contribute to the site ....

All I'm saying is you look at any successful buisness module and consumer feedback and involvement is at the core of its success as ultimately we are providing a service for the public if the public become alienated they will move on fact ....

I work in the customer service industry I have first hand experience if what it does when you involve your consumer ...

Whatbis like to see and in sure the majority of the community would like to see is the staff publishing polls on future decisions instead of making decisions behind closed doors ofcourse if the decision doesn't have an effect on the users of the site that's fine hold it behind closed doors but 95% of those decisions will have an effect on the users thus there opinions should be accounted for ....

LB isn't a socialist democracy. It's a benevolent dictatorship. The site owners make decisions based on staff input and some staff get to make decisions on their own because they've earned a place at that table. You can't put everything to a vote or nothing will ever get done.

I never said to put everything to the vote I clearly said if decisions are to be made that don't directly or drastically change things for the community then have them behind closed doors but things that do effect these guys should be run by them for opinions at a minimum it's not necessarily a case of you action what they say it's a case of ENGAGEMENT by inviting the community to share opinions creates and sense of purpose for them surely you of all people can see that .....

But as I said I'm not saying we should run every change by them but at least involve them more make them feel appreciated for logging in ....

A community oriented site should be community driven. why should staff make decisions? It's obvious y'all don't know wtf you're talking about and have very little regard for the community

go through my accounts and the threads I made on each. How many times have I asked for a new skin? & others asked for certain ideas? Idk but I'm sure those kind of threads date back to 2010. NOWS when we get a skin

We are still working on a few more features.. please allow us to finish before we spout off all these ideas... theres a lot you mentioned thats already in the works or on the list of things to be done... the best thing you guys can do right now is promote lb outside of lb... bring new users.. get people battling.. utilize the system we have and get it popping.. id appreciate 5 battles in our arena or if you voted on a bunch much more than a long diatribe of what I should be doing... itll be more beneficial to the site.. what we are lacking.. encourage people

I'm merely trying to build a bridge between staff and community and bigger bridge that doesn't have a guard at one end a bridge that has free flowing traffic between staff and community I'm sorry you all feel like I'm telling you how to do your jobs in really not what I'm telling you is this could be done better if involvement and engagement is given ....

@Pugz I love the hustle lately don't get me wrong if anything that's what's got my passion burning more the fact shit is changing ....

Also if you have a "list" of things getting done why not share it with the community invest in your people they will invest in you.... If you show them the progress the "list" and knock each one out the park your community will be ENGAGED on a level this site hasn't seen for a while ...

You tell us to go vote go promote etc that's great but you have to give us confidence our efforts are for a greater cause not just because we've been told too ...

Like I said I'm trying to build the bridge break down some barriers encourage a free flowing traffic of ideas and information from both sides .... I apreciate there's levels to privacy and staff boards etc no doubt but I'd like to see the staff posting ideas to is and asking us what do we think on it .... That's be dope ...

And if yourself and noble posted this list of things you'd like to get done that's be dope too we wouldn't cry and kick up a fuss if not all of it got done but I bet ya ass we'd get excited and buzzed up to see what you are trying to achieve ....
