I kind of feel like it's bullshit if it gets swept under though.

Lockhart got banned during his Illmania battle for a week.
GrizzEAT got banned for a month.

Both of them did nearly this exact same thing. If I'm correct, both Dysfunctional and Mind Fuck have been banned for this too. If I'm correct, this is why X-Cal got banned a few months ago.

While I do think X-Cal will be a solid mod, are we really just going to change the rules because of that fact? You can't reprimand other members, but let one off because he was made mod.

As for the rule itself, I reckon we could look into changing it in the future. The problem is that people bitch about current FVC members as it is, so if we allow people to IM them, that will only fuel that fire.

yeah actually if someone is promoting there own battles there foulin right there.. its against the rules and it gives him a gain that is unfair and one that im not allowed to take advantage of and if i did he would take swift ass action against me.. so yeah ..yeah someone is gettin fouled.. grizzys gettin fouled, lockharts gettin fouled... and now anyone who DOESNT do this is gettin fouled...

but honestly i do know what you mean about blnk in this situation as it does seem like hes only puttin the cape on to help his "#rant4mod" campaign. lol

I am so sick of this logic. Let's be realistic, we ALL know I am nowhere near consideration for a mod spot. By ANYONE. With that said, what, then, does this thread do to push the "agenda" of my attaining such a position forward? Absolutely nothing. If anything, it hinders that chance. I was unclear on the situation, I made a thread. It's as simple as that.

I agree with Bleu about the FVC, but I think we should simply enforce that all battle links be kept to the appropriated FVC thread.

I had a new person PM me recently asking for feedback on his verses and that he just put out another battle because I had voted on one of his battles prior that had been in the FVC thread..

I told him the rules and provided the link to the FVC thread. That's how I feel it should be handled...
