But Jason just stepped into audio, which he barely ever does, against arguably one of the best audio dudes ever on LB, and beat him, in a title match. He'll also be facing some big names in the audio GC.

I'm not saying it in any insulting way, but why would Jason be happy to battle stricc in audio...and then duck you?

To me, to be good at audio all you need is alright flow and a natural sounding voice.

The top audio guys are a different story but for guys who are just "good", there is a reason why none of them could hang in a text battle (the medium guys, not the top guys).

& your record is barely over .500 in an age where even the shittest battlers can win. You won 5 battles & now you think your better than Jason...that alone should tell you to stfu.

Real rappers/lyricists use mics not keyboards. Having that sound & ability to orchestrate your punches is alot harder on a mic than a keyboard.

You can also say to be good at text all you need to do is formulate a proper multi....

not all my battles are snipes. It's impossible to just battle vets. I have almost 300 battles on this account alone. I've beaten vets as a rookie on this account and my previous accounts from like 07.

@Andrew Hack - Text is actually more challenging. Everything's laid out for nit-picking in front of you. Audio you can abuse the shit out of slant rhymes, have a decent flow and no real complexity and it'll still sound nice. Text you need to up the anti on creativity so much more because people can SEE rather than hear it.

Up until recently audio on LB actually had quite weak lyrics. I'd favour UA, stricc, Phil Banks and M-Rock over a lot of the old school guys because now they've taken elements from both sides and meshed them.
