But Pulse if you want a nice program for cheap that literarly does everything- check out Cakewalk Home Studio XL- Sonar 7, it is legit and what I used at my crib before I went to a studio- also the snowball mic with a pop filter gets the job done, escpially if theirs alot of noise where or by your recording |
@ dooks ya man you just need a pop filter

IK multimedia CSR or Altiverb 6 (professional sounding reverb plugin fuck that default one cause I know alot of ppl on here like to use reverb)
also the classic effect bundle is good for mastering, reverb, and shit (I use it for mastering my beats and shit) |

I use Cool edit my self....last night i downloaded FL9, shit complicated no doubt, but as Jason said, its all about experimenting....Personally i find that being a DJ helps me with the mixing side of things....If u wanna make beats the easiest way, then get your self a set of decks....record or CD, dont matter, altho CD be handier as you can use anything u want by burning the sound onto CD an then just mix em together....<Its a Good STARTING POINT i think....
But for vocals, Yeah Pop filter is needed lol as also the correct mic positioning in a room, as your vocals sound waves will bounce off the walls an back...ect ect.... Basically just find out what works for YOU the best... As were all diff lol My 2 cents.... :high: |
