There’s an official topical tourney scheduled for later in the year (maybe November? Check the tournament schedules to be sure) and if I have any say in the matter it will definitely be 16 lines and bracketed in the normal tournament setup.

That shit was true in like 2012. Any time in recent years I think I've been fairly judged on my bars and got respect. I just dont have the endurance for tournaments.

I think 9 official tournaments a year is enough (8 audio) but I do like the idea of the Rising Champion but since we have ROTY we don't need it yearly. Agree with Kiwi to run it as a forum tournament and if it's successful then maybe it could run along the LBA/LBT monthly PPV cards. Would be nice to see Rookies having a monthly chance to battle their peers, engaging more then regular 1 on 1 battles. Rising Champions sounds like a good name to me too.

I never understood why certain titles were stripped from users like Aggo jokes over bars, Riepers nba and the middleweight title I held a while back. I don’t want it btw because I don’t consider myself a middleweight anymore but Celsius keeps a heavyweight title which is cool but it’s like damn give these middleweights and less skilled battlers a title they can fight for. If you’re going to have a hw champion there needs to be a middle weight champ at least. I understand the site shouldn’t have unnecessary titles but it’s almost a slap to the face to the middleweights that are actually trying to improve. Level the playing field
