The virus has spread to a few cases in NZ, but everyone here is so laidback and willing to bury their heads in the sand that nothing has changed at all. Shit seems crazy in the US tho, and even more so in Europe and Asia.

Altho it’s easy to blame people, and often you’ll be right, I don’t think something like this was planned. Trump is extremely likely to win the next election so he has no need for something like this. Bill Gates “predicting the coronavirus” by saying a pandemic outbreak would originate in China is like saying the last GC was rigged because someone predicted Rieper would win it. Also, it’s literally not legally possible to patent the virus. There are lots of organisations with patents to stuff relating to different strains of coronavirus (which are useless when it comes to Covid-19) but no one owns (or can own) the novel coronavirus covid-19. I don’t want to get into a protracted argument cos I highly doubt any of us are going to change our minds, but I had to get that out there, because misinformation about the virus can be more dangerous than the virus itself.

Just remember that the QAnon people who started the Bill Gates conspiracies are the same people who told people drinking a type of bleach was the cure.
