I’m gonna say 3 with the stipulation that once you’ve matched the Kings consecutive defences streak, you have to beat the King. If you win you become the King. If you lose, the King can decide whether he wants the LBT/A title himself (and have to actively defend it) or allow you to keep it but knocks your streak right back to 0. Of course this means the King has to be active. Once someone’s matched his streak if he doesn’t defend his crown in the next LBT/A card, the event goes on as usual with the next contender up and if the LBT/A holder beats that contender, they become the new King.

No shows, if they were Standard scheduled title matches, must count. It’s not fair to the champion.

With "overthrowing the king", you guys are forgetting that the existing did his shit like 5-6 years ago. Someone could easily have been gone forever by then.

I went option 1 because it doesnt fuck the entire system and simple patches over the mistakes of former leaders. I personally think its shit that Esso or whoever else is gonna get stripped of a permanent title cause we said "Nah change our mind".

Actually I just remembered this as well. Wasn’t part of Rai’s thing that Row cheated in that LBT title match meaning Rai really won, so he’s actually got over 7 consecutive defences now when marking the row battle as a win...? @Rieper @Student someone that would remember

There is no point in having multiple Kings of any sort, imo. There is only one King at any given time, so why is this any different? It's prob'ly confusing as shit to a new user to see both RULE & Seul rocking an LBA King title with no real context as to why two people have the same exact title with King in it. Make it to where it's only one person who holds that title and give the prestige back to it that it's supposed to have in the first place.

Was that another battle where Row self-voted? Cause if so then yeah you're right he does deserve the title. He was right at 6 defenses when he battled Row.

With this being said, my original point still stands. There should only be one King at any given time in both formats.

In the case that the king is inactive / retired they just lose it once their streak is bested. Gives some incentive to stick around and be active every now and then for someone like ILL or someone that might have the title in the future.

Also I want to reiterate that unless Seul, RULE, Esso, Rai and ILL are okay with whatever the changes are, then nothing happens. They were given permanent titles, end of. If they are unanimously okay with a change, then it changes.
@Noir yeah I'd be cool with that, although not as a solid rule. It'd be more something we build up like I'd hit up the existing champ and say "Free title shot if you wanna defend LBT King".

You're just specifically applying that meaning though. Right now it works like boxing Commonwealth title. After X amount of defences you get to keep it
