I mean, you fill the box because having less bars than your opponent is from the jump potentially setting yourself up for failure. especially if the guy who responds is tight, then they not only have good bars but MORE good bars than you.

Think about how people are voting, you can't just go "well my ish is so dope i only need half the box" and then be surprised when people give the vote to the guy who put in twice the work lol

If you want to type less lines, do an 8 line battle. If you want to rap battle someone with LESS than EIGHT little lines, then just search for a new hobby at that point

you not wrong babylon but look at other side of coin, his battle with rohan is a 16 line battle. if you count hakunas lines he has 16 in there. to fill up the box rohan technically spit fucking 32. im not even knocking on rohan cause as long as i been here thats the norm. it does suck to see the homey hakuna get sorta penalized for technically sticking to the script.

if anything you guys are saying " i have to drop TWICE as many bars" instead of hakuna saying he only has to drop half, if that makes sense.
