they don't know how to develop. if they did they wouldnt be taking the main site down to code on it for a month.

Lmao, probably because I ALONE have been saying "get a team of developers to fix this place" since 2012, and that, matched with any other suggestions I've made have been met with incredulous silence. That doesn't even mention the actual acolytes of activity that have been doing that since YEARS before my join date.

This doesn't even compare to the fact that even the OPTION of shutting the entire fucking site down for a MONTH shows that for some reason they can't just use the ALREADY EXISTING dev version of this site to do what they're saying like theyve done with every other update in the history of lb...

what other people are saying in here is true. there's no need to shut down the site. a good developer can take all the shit LB has and rehaul it while we use the site simultaneously. but i could give a shit cuz I log on this site 2-3 times a month, if that, and maybe log 20 minutes total/month. so...fingers crossed

We've had a mirror site for as long as I can remember, can't you just use that? Wouldn't be surprised if the site never returns.

Lmao I said approximately a month.. it may be less.. we are going to be changing our server provider simultaneously with the relaunch as well as doing a promotional campaign for it... because of the database transfer we will be down anyway so It makes sense to just take the site down while we implement everything.. it'll also give us the appropriate time to work out any kinks once it's live.. If yall want I'll see about just leaving the forums up for you...just have a little faith in the process.. the key feature will be an easy to navigate mobile version of the site with record and playback working from your device...
