You're probably right, but performance/stage presence is almost as important as the lyrics you bring in live battling. If we were talking about who brings better lyricism, then Pat would have already lost his title match with Dizaster. It all depends on who's judging the battle. If you have a judge who listens solely to the lyricism, and tries to blank out how much reaction the crowd makes to the battler, He most likely wouldn't have voted for pat in any of his title defenses, but there are multiple judges.

New-era battlers I've been impressed by recently: Psycoses. Gjonaj. Big Kannon. Raptor (he used to be kind of bland but his Big Kannon battle showed he's got potential). K-Shine. Ogmios (super-unconventional, but totally brilliant). Rum Nitty. Lunar C. If Oxxxymiron (russian battler who happens to have a masters degree in english studies) ever decides to battle in English he'll be unstoppable.

@Godbody I still disagree with the Daylyt issue, his battles vs. Chilla Jones & Ooops were very good imo. But its just my opinion, not fact lol

watched his battle vs Madchild made me laugh, Madchilds an odd guy. First I've seen of him.
