Lets Beef - Battle Rap Forums - One Bar Tourny Predictions

I'm not going to bother with percentage predictions on this; I'm just going to be picking a winner, whom I've highlighted in green, as per standard operating procedure for these prediction threads.

Black Book vs exZACHly - While, like Subreal said, Black Book has been having some serious issues with his bars ever since he returned from the shadows, exZACHly is on a far lower tier than Black Book; when mismatches like this occur, problems with writing like what Book has don't really matter.

ILLoKWENT vs APE SPITZ - This is a complete mismatch. No further explanation should be needed.

Lockhart™ vs Shodan - No comment, for obvious reasons.

Babylon vs Aggo - Of all the battles in this round, I think that this one is the hardest to call, and the one that will have the most varied opinions about its outcome. Babylon could go the punching angle, where's he fairly weak, or just use his trademark style of aggressive schemes and direct insults. It would be cool to see him attempt to mix both together for this, but I've never seen him do that. Aggo, on the other hand... I didn't realize he was Barfight until just a few minutes ago - I figured he was probably either WarSand or Dean, but I wasn't sure. His concepts are on a level similar to Babylon's, and while his flow game isn't quite up to par, he's also got a solid grasp on humor. My best guess is a clear win (but not a landslide) for Aggo, but it could go either way by any margin.

And, yes, I'm aware that it's a no-no to make predictions about the battles of your own crew members, but since they're both in my crew, I don't think that there's really any harm in it.

Row vs Dean - This one is another hard match to call. Sometimes Dean drops some really funny or solid shit; sometimes, he just drops pure wackness. Row, on the other hand, is more consistent. I think that a clear victory for Row is the most likely outcome, but, like the above match, anything could happen.

Fleetwood vs Dizzy Dash - Another total mismatch, it would seem.

FREEK vs Student - I'm only predicting that Student will win this because it's text. If it was audio, then FREEK would win. I think this will be close, but Student will drop a better punch while FREEK's flow will be superior.

Subreal vs Insuppressible - This one is another clear victory. While Insuppressible has managed to surprise me a few times recently, that just doesn't change the fact that Subreal is on a level or two higher.

COFFIN DODGER vs (FORFEITED) - I hate myself, and want to die.

Punk vs Dono - Not only is Dono the fucking emperor of One Bar tournaments, he's also just the stronger battler. This will probably be a landslide.

Wonderbred vs Rōnin - This one is yet another major mismatch. Rōnin has the structure down, but Wonderbred's concepts are on an entirely different tier.

Esso vs Celsius - See the above match.

Last Boss vs Drgaire - I don't know much of anything about either of these two, so no comment.

-ANONYMOUS- vs Indianapolis Jones - This ought to be interesting, assuming that Indianapolis Jones doesn't no-show, as Subreal predicted will happen. -ANONYMOUS- has been pretty solid with it lately, but I think that, assuming he shows, Indianapolis Jones will just overpower him with a cleaner bar.

Erupt vs Obey - This is a fairly one-sided battle, in my opinion, but unlike the other mismatches on here, the weaker battler is not wack. Erupt is the cleaner, more creative, and more fluent of these two battlers conceptually, but Obey might be able to pull off an upset if he really gives it a go.

M1DAS vs Syco_Delic - As with Last Boss vs Drgaire, I don't know much of anything about either of these two, so no comment.
