Both should be able to read over each others verses before it gets posted up for votes. Both should have an option, after they have both posted and read each others verses, to confirm whether they are finished or not (the deadline still remains).

In other words, one posts first, the receiver reads it, he writes his verse, then the sender gets to read his verse somehow and revise his own, once they're both satisfied with their verses, there should be a confirmation box both emcees have to click for the battle to be open for votes.

Once again, the deadline still remains.

I know this sounds out of the box, but it's an idea..
