^I kind of need to call you out on that @Godbody.

X-Cal returned essentially once since like 2007 or 2008. He made little noise, but seemed to have potential as a texter. He brought back APOC, which, although I don't remember, I knew was old school. I extended a basic member spot in Chloro to X-Cal, so that shows you the "level" he was at. X-Cal started making some good recruits for Apoc, and started to get a bit noticed. He had some good crew ideas, and got made crew mod. He did a good job of it, but got banned (I think for the same reason as this).

He stayed away for a while after being banned. Then came back. He wasn't here long but had a few ideas. He was made mod a little bit prematurely however.

I would understand if X-Cal came up with the best idea since bottled water...or ran a few successful tournaments... But he hasn't even done 'A' and you're vouching for him like he did X, Y, Z.

X-Cal's a mediocre textcee, didn't SPECIFICALLY deserve his mod spot (was looking to be good though) and had a crew that was a part in boosting the crew section in a time that needed it.

Why did I vouch for him?

X-Cal wasn't a vet from 2007 really. He's more well known now that he would have been then.

As to the why I was made mod it's not always about making threads and being recognized by the community ... Neither of you know me or what I do aside from what you see on the forums ...

1. Me and Pulse were both there in 2007, Pulse probably 2006. You're not going to find two guys who know their LB history better than us.

2. Don't do that behind the scenes shit. Maybe you had some ideas in the bank, but there are no major rumblings going on behind the scenes.

3. I'm not defending you. I'm saying that you seemed like you were aimed towards being an alright for mod for a while. I didn't feel you specifically earned the spot, but you were putting in work. I didn't really voice an opinion about what should have been done about your mistake, but I kind of agree with how it was handled. Gives you time to prove you're trying to help the site beyond getting your name colour changed, allows you to earn the spot 100% and is fair in comparison to Lockhart and Dysfunctional who did the exact same thing.

the gist of what im sayin is...y is there a thread about a dude who was mod for a few weeks who, imo, never really deserved it in the first place? but carry on
