thats why there are different fuckin colors , shit. even titles that change your name color. Titles keep ppl moving; motivated and reducing that will reduce activity tenfold. If ya want, just make the more meaningful titles have a name color feature or some shit as well.

That wouldn't limit the amount of titles though. Everyone who wants a title for their tourney would only then say they'll run it annually and petition to make it official.

Also,I Think Hall Of Famers Should Have A Gold Username (And Gold Title To Not Be The Same As Live Battlers) Unless They're A Forum Moderator, Patriarch, Moderator Or Administrator.
The Fair Voters Club Members User Name Shouldn't Be Italicized Same Goes For Forum Moderators, It's Unnecessary.

Notice I Put The LBT/LBA A Different Color As I Think It Should Be To Distinguish Between Grand Champions And The Current LBT/LBA Champion Because It Changes.

Only People With Custom Titles Should Be Current Staff Members, Patriarch And V.I.P. (Donors).

Even Though I Think They're Too Many Colored User Names, If The FVC Is Going To Get A Colored Name So Should Secondary Champions (Or Don't Call Them Champions) And LBA/LBT Champions Who Don't Have A Higher Title.

I Think Forum Run Tournaments / Games Shouldn't Get A Title (Especially Because A Lot Of Forum Tournaments Have The Word "Champion" In Them) But Keep The Contest Titles.

I'm For Scratching Custom Titles If Everyone Has To, Although I Personally Think My Fellow Patriarchs And I Along With The Current Staff Members Have Earned Our Respective Custom Titles. Donors Deserve One Because They Actually Gave Money (Although It Should Be More Then The Cost Of Exclusive Membership)

You only have to look at the staff forums to know how I feel lol.

If your staying active for 25+ tournaments a year then your staying active for the wrong reasons. Battle coz you like to battle, not just for a few extra characters that nobody gives a fuck about. I guess it's one of the reasons the GC Tournaments were so good a while back. People wanted that GC title coz it held value. I say held coz for most people it'll just be ANOTHER tournament.

There are too many titles. But it feels like the only reason people battle these days is because they feel they're in with a decent shout of grabbing 1 for themselves because so many of them are up for grabs so often.

Shit like this was a none issue back in the day. People used to battle because they wanted to and when that GC came around it felt like something epic and special. The buzz around it and the spin offs from it. The banter. Emotions steming into tracks and all kinds of exposing was quality.

Now because there's so many tourneys knocking about it's a lot easier to lose interest and any kind of hype or investment because there's always the next 1.

When it was just the GC that was all or nothing. It was what you had been waiting for. Your 1 chance to be grouped with the select few who had won it prior.

That simply isn't the case anymore and the effect is the same in terms of those who have won it.

No offence but I see some Big winners these days and I just don't hold them in the same esteem as I used to with winners from years ago. because they're being thrown around like candy.

Not saying those guys couldn't have won back in the day, it's simply down to over saturation.

I also think people no showing could be due partly to so many tournaments/titles.

Again. there's always the next 1 mentality.

But take them away and the site will be more dead because..well shit aint happening.

The site has "spoilt" them. You can't revert back now.

i agree with @Row titles add incentive to those tourneys that aren't as big as the GC, people know they aren't as valuable because of the color & the competition within the tourney.

The only titles that should be removed are the Mafia Winner titles. Those have nothing to do with battling.

If you take away the green titles then those tourneys will disappear.

And there is still a shit ton of decent battlers that have no title whats so ever.

IMO there should be titles given out monthly for the top 10. That'll add alot more activity. I know it should be quality over quantity but you still gotta give props for droppin 50+ battles a month and winning most of them.

Should bring back the Hall Of Shame titles...

@Just C the GC still has that importance over all of the other titles. And Is highly valuable compared to the other green titles.
