Yeah I guess since ACs/Chloro will always be under inspection, and are well known to be connected, that allowances and dis-allowances can be made that another crew with a similar set up might not be afforded.

I don't imagine it was against the rules previously though. I can't imagine a mod calling someone up about it since it can't possibly have crew bias involved.

Myself i think it's not a bad point. But ya know yourself, you'll get situations where ppl (when caught) will play the "oh i didn't know" when they vote for their brother/sister crew on a battle that has only one member of their brother/sister crew in it.

And this is why we have moderators.

Personally, I see no harm in allowing this at all. Letting people vote in battles where only one of the members is in their crew is dangerous because they could give a biased vote that looks fair and might get away with it. That should, of course, remain banned. People pulling that shit can be dealt with on a case by case basis.

We allow people to beef with each other on here, we allow mild trolling, and we allow insults directed at other users, even though all these things lead to an elevated chance of the rules being broken. Why? Because we have staff who are tasked with dealing with each incident. That's your entire job description. If somebody pulls the "oh, I didn't notice" shit, remove the vote, give them a warning, and ban them if they keep doing it.
