I dont beleive monetary gain is a true passion at all...i dont beleive that can actually be the definitve markin as to you being fullfilled...Fullfillment to me is brought on by Art or emotion, that true undeniable emotion where there is no question on what you are feeling....I have no fuckin clue what i feel or who the fuck i am but when i get to the ground zero of that mess, Ill know i have found out what will bring me fullfilment in life...Warren Buffet would agree, U want me to hit him up on his beeper so u can ask him?
---------- Post added at 06:47 PM ---------- Previous post was at 06:34 PM ---------- yeah you said it best...his hook was hot...whats that mean? Kids talented yeah, and I aint shit ill first to say, literally imma waste of life, this one old dirty guy i used to know would say "Hey (my name) the best part of you ran down your fathers leg!" its true, my mother would tell me that except instead of his leg she would say in her BH...thats butthole and yes thats nasty...haha...for real though he can throw some quick syllables and smooth transitions but he aint makin it makin it...weird world man... |

When you've had money, like I'm sure 99.9% of all of us have, it's a lot harder to see the value of money to these people. When you have seen your family go through as hard times as say Jose Aldo would have, both his original family and now his own family, the dream of some day allowing them to live comfortably and not go through the stuff they already have again, you would understand it a bit better. |
With this day and age most labels will NOT sign a artist no matter how dope he is..they will only show interest if you are already "packaged", meaning you have to have paperwork and copywrite proof for all your lyrics, music and beats..you got to have a following and a buzz cuz they dont want to pay out of pocket for marketing and promotion..
If you package your own brand and go threw the trouble yourself you could go the indie route and sell your own records..lets say you sell 50,000 records indie, at like $7 a sale you will earn like $350,000 with no label to pay back..if you were signed and sold $50,000 you would probably end up in the red and owing your label money.. ---------- Post added at 07:14 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:08 PM ---------- But on a high note, i heard they give Top Top Top tier battlers anywhere from $10,000-$20,000 for big events..in about 5 years labels will have to sign battlers if their paychecks keep getting bigger, best believe they will want some of that money for themselves |
he said "his dream was to own a house" his materialistic dream, thats not passion man, thats not what defines someone. And don't take this as me on the Offense cause Im just being true and calmly speakin my mind but there are a million jose aldos out there me included so dont generalize me as someone that doesnt understand, thats a juvenille debate tactic. Im not tryin to Out-struggle anyone either but i have never had money, I have struggled and struggled constantly since i was born our family struggled and the only thing that has kept me up, like Jose Aldo, is familly. Thats all that matters man is that true emotion, soomething like unconditional love is not about givin mama a house, If Jose Aldo was a day laborer in Sparta, workin his ass off for 12 an hour, his family would love him exactly the same if not more...If anything id say his passion is his family and his dream is to see them happy and loved, and if he were that day laborourer up in the sticks in Jerz, he still would have had his dream come to fruition....

The dude steps into a cage and fights, and when asked, all he ever wanted to do was own a house. His dream wasn't to become UFC champion, which he did, it was to provide for his family and make them not have to struggle anymore. I have another example. The Briscoe Brothers are a pro wrestling tag team. They have grinded every day of their careers, working for peanuts and owning a chicken farm on the site. They got a tryout for WWE, and it went well. One of them goes home and tells his wife "We made it. All of the hard work has paid off. You can quit your job waiting on tables, we're going to be rich". Turns out, WWE didn't like their image, so they never got the job. The reason he was so happy because his dream was always to get to that level. Their passion might be wrestling, but just wrestling isn't their dream. When you can live well off of something, and earn money from it, then you have achieved your dream. |
I dont know whats more assine of a statement you made that "when youve had money like 99.9% of us had" who the fuck has money man? bro im a fuckin piece of shit that has to earn money illegally and im livin in an attic...its my only option right now, only way for me to make the amount of money i need to live but not be able to keep any of it...and when you say "When you can live well off of something, and earn money from it, then you have achieved your dream" thats bullshit and you contradicted your example leadin into that....If im an electrician, and I fuckin hate electricity and my job, but i got an awesome job climbin poles gettin bank after the hurricanes pullin in more than enough to be comfortable in a house wit rooms and a couch and annoyin kids, does that mean Im livin my dream?" thats a nitemare kid, get outta the bubble-boy..im not gonna explain your obvious contradiction cause you throwin little kid darts like im at a fuckin 5th birthday party and its time for pin the tail on the Honkey (im obviously whte just to clarify) maybe it is pin the tail on the donkey time and obvious by the reality- blindfold your rockin i rekon its your turn...
